benitez was a great, great defensive fighter but he wasn't in chavez' weight class. he was a little bigger than chavez at welterweight. but i'll agree, it would have been a bad matchup for chavez but in rating them in the p4p category, chavez was still rated a little higher. no disrespect to benitez though because he was a great fighter and one of my favorites at the time.

well i'd say Benitez' accomplishment of being the youngest world champion ever (a feat no one will ever beat cause it's now illegal to go pro before the age of 1, add in titles at 147 and 154 i'd say that they were pretty even, only thing Benitez didn't last as long on top cause of drug problems
