and i agree with you fenster with the odds, i think people are writing him off too quickly, he isnt a weight drained oscar or cotto or an over the hill hatton, or a slow clotty, this is pacs first fight in a higher weight that his oponent is in top shape to compete
I agree, but he looks slower than Pac and hasnt got the angles either he will get a lesson I think unless he catches Pac early and hurts him. Thats doubtful but it would be fun to see it happen just to even things right out on a level playing field from the start.
Marg wont be just giving up either so it should be a great fight. I dont care who wins.

In your own little world Yes I agree In the real world I have to disagree mate.
just to recap skel, the debate started because someone said a win for margs would be nothing but bad for boxing

i disagreed because of the points I have made

do you not think my points are valid?
No, the point you've made show why a Margarito win would be good for Margarito. None of them are good for boxing as a whole.

Whether you like one, both or neither, Mayweather & Pacquiao are the best thing to happen to boxing in the past decade. Two small ATGs who've gone through numerous weight-classes beating around half a dozen future hall of famers each. A possible fight between the two would be the biggest the sport has seen since Leonard-Hearns.

Sorry, I'm being all serious again. Let's talk about something funny like the cost of cheese in brothels.
your wrong dude, check out posts 5 and 6 where the debate started

you are right when you say a between pac and may would be big
Except then you ARE saying that Margarito's wraps have boxing in a hole??

But that can't be saying that, because you've said it isn't. So what are you saying?
what has that got to do with the last 2 posts?

and your last sentence is daft man because we have already cleared those points up, do i really need to go back through the thread and show you up again?
You're genuinely brilliant mate, set yourself up every time. Maybe you do need to go back through the thread as you're always advising others to do. Although in your own warped world, you'll find some way to use this to justify Carl Froch being the greatest fighter who has ever lived

For the sake of boxing I hope Pac wins but Marg looks ripped and ready. Arum should not be allowed to let his inbreed stable fight one another that is stupid and i hope the sales to this fight stink.

I can't see how a guy who blatantly tried to cheat with the most dangerous thing ever (loaded glove) has any chance to spark any good for the sake of boxing. No matter if Floyd-Pacman happens or not, a Pac win on that one is the only positive option available.

maybe maybe not, but i think most boxing people (from opinions on this forum) seem to think pac has cheated too with roids

which is worse, roids or the loaded glove?

you know bodybuilders become upto 15% or more stronger when on roids, was pac punching 15% harder and faster?

There's a big diferrence between "thinking" and actually "knowing".

Btw. Pac is prolly about 145-148 right now. The guy is still underweight. They're having him eat 5 meals a day. Ariza is making him consume 5,000-7,000 calories per day just to keep him heavy. Pac walks around 140-145 and never exceeded 150 lbs at fight night. So, do really think Pac has bodybuilders frame?

yep there is a big difference, and will we ever know?

it doesnt matter what frame you have tho thats the general affect of roids

i workout, and i know a lot of people who are into it and i speak to a lot of people who take roids in the gym and on forums

you get kids with skinny frames wanting to be buffed up quick start taking roids, and a 10 to 15% or even more strength gain is the norm

in fact they usually gain a bit more strength than the bigger lads because there is a lot more room for it

and if you think if manny was on roids you would expect him to be getting the best there is and doing it 100% properly so you would think he would be at the top end of the gain scale

as much as i was a big fan of margarito i can no longer hope he wins any fight other then if he fight mayweather LOL........the more i look at the clips the more i think about it the more i'm starting to think he's got a better chance then first thought.......he's been out the main events for 2 years, wants to re-build his name( that will never happen) he's bigger, stronger....pac has again jumped up a weight class ( this could finnally be one jump to many) plus if we're to believe pac isn't training right........this isnt a movie, in real life sometimes the bad-guy wins anyway

i'm honestly looking at this fight now as 52-48 in favour of pac, you cant count margarito out untill the bell rings, then and only then we'll know what shape both fighters are in

    There are two differences:

    1) We have no proofs that Pac cheated. Some assumed it but there is no proofs. A suspicious refusal to take a blood test raised some doubts (which I agree with) that he was apparently willing to take later in order to solve the situation to fight Mayweather. Margarito on the other hands really cheated, it is a proven fact with loaded gloves.

    2) More muscles vs brassknuckles, brass knuckles win big time. This is not even a question.
