Jose Sulaiman has resigned as president of the WBC - good riddance!

That is GREAT news. As far as I'm concerned, Sulaiman is a biased scumbag whose departure can only improve the sport.

i want everyone to go to the WBC web page (wbcboxing.com) and click on accomplishments and you will see the WBC has done many good things for boxing. they have revolutionized and installed many important guidelines, medical procedures and rules.

only a complete hater cannot see the good they have done. and i'm willing to be that they have done more good and revolutionized the sport of boxing than any other boxing organization on earth.

his organization is by far, easily the largest, most respected in boxing, and nothing comes close to it.

say what you will about don jose sulaiman but overall, he has been good for the sport and his positives clearly outweigh his negatives.

Regardless of what the WBC may have done for boxing, that doesn't change the fact that Jose Sulaiman is a corrupt, biased administrator who has made his share of questionable comments and shady decisions. 99.9% of the boxing world will agree with this remark.

*cough*... WAS is more appropriated. Beside, read everything that Lance Uppercut wrote, it sums very well how Sulaiman is a leech, with what he did to Rochigliani, the multiplication of useless belts to force guys to buy them in order to achieve better ranking, putting up something stupid as "super champion" to pocket even more money, allowing 2 people to hold the same belt at the same time etc etc... unacceptable.
