I fear for Shane's life, I really do. The only other time I felt that way was when Holyfield fought Tyson the 1st time, but in this case I don't think Shane is going to shock the world.

The face to face HBO interview will probably go something like this:

Mosley to Roach: Manny has never been in with someone as strong and fast as me, how are you guys going to counter that?

Roach to Mosley: I saw your last 2 fights.

Mosley has a shot. Aging athletes lose consistency but can often turn back the clock. Without PBF's strict PED-enforcement regiment, he could always find a mothers little helper too. Lets face it, PEDs are ubiquitous in sports and Mosely's been caught once, so speculation is fair game.

A bit of a lose lose for PacMan though. He continuous to fight boxers who PBF already dismantled. He does it in more spectacular fashion but at the end of the day he's fighting guys that look considerably less formidable than they did pre-PBF.

Indeed, Mosely has taken quite a fall...going from a 1b-4-lber, the WW no one wanted a piece of, the man who dismantled Margorita, to over the hill.

JMM desreved a 3rd fight. Pac gave up chance to clear up his one blemish.

This is going to be a horrible fight. We seen what Floyd's speed did to Mosley, he was hesitating to throw punches, and never had any answer for the speed. Now Mosley is going to fight a guy with the same speed, and he's aged even more. As usaul, we will hear from Arum and the boys how great Mosley is, and how much of a warrior he is in the ring. Not buying this ppv.

This was a no brainer in the making with HBO and GBP at forefront. Mayweather has painted himself into corner and once again the division is passing him by. Seems these two just take turns fighting each others left overs

Style wise. I seriously give Mosley a clean punchers chance. Manny can be drawn in and while much was made of Tonys size, Mosley is there as well having been 154 although in thicker fashion. Speed and long boxing kills Mosley but he's planted, retains hand speed and compared to Margarito, Clottey and crew...he can crack far more to get Mannys attention. He can dig ribs too and if Tony bothers Manny for a minute...Mosley will too. Hell...I like this fight, all possibility's considered.

A shocking fight, Shane Mosely is a has been and this is just going to be used to keep Manny ticking over untill Mayweather gets his act together.

Terrible fight. Mosley is shot to bits. I wasn't enthusiastic about a 3rd JMM fight, but it would have been way better than this shit.

I'm glad the Marquez fight didn't get made. This fight seems to be the plausable massacre.

This fight is good for boxing in the sense that, we can stop suggesting who he should fight. And we should stop thinking of when and or ever is Pacman ever going to fight Mayweather.

Now instead of going back and forth on how this fight outcome is going to be, I can think of more possible fights that don't involve Pacman.

    1. If Bradley defeat Alexander . . .
    Bradley vs JMM or
    Bradley vs Berto
    2. If Alexander defeat Bradley
    Alexander vs Khan
    3. Berto vs Alvarez
    Berto vs Clottey
    4. Cotto vs Cintron
    Cotto vs Williams
    Cotto vs Vanes
    5. K9 vs Williams
    K9 vs Angulo
    6. JMM vs Soto
    vs Berto
    7. Jcc Jr vs Williams
    8. Martinez vs (they all scared)

O, by the way, did Mosley look shot or was in, with a great Mayweather and a track star in Mora?
Naz is licking at his chops right now to defeat Roach and Manny. The gameplan is in the works. One more question. By signing this fight with 6 months to go, is it possible Manny is hoping Mosley will over train like he said he did with the Mayweather fight?

I know and it's stupid to think Manny is either afraid/scared or 2nd guessing himself to face someone he's beaten on paper twice...

But I have to say this is a really interesting choice...
This choice for me tells me he's more interested in other things and not what makes most boxing sense.

    and I have to note that this has me a bit puzzled and I quote;

"... Pacquiao chose the bout because Mosley is the most accomplished and famous boxer in the field of candidates, which included Juan Manuel Marquez and welterweight champion Andre Berto..."

If Pac genuinely feels that, I can respect his opinion however as I said previously your only as good as your last performance.
SSM is coming off a draw where he looked horrible and rocking PBF in the 2nd rd that is it...
SSM has been more in the spotlight and is def. more famous but if that is what Pac is basing his future opponents on then here's the line up.
After SSM there's B-Hop at 175 and then the winner of Haye-Wladdy. As a farwell Holyfield is still around and we all know how "famous" he is.

If Pac had been fed the oppostion I'd to a certain extent would understand but to read that he chose the opponent I gotta say it's a bit disappointing.

Mosely isnt in his prime thats for sure, but I'm not gonna say shot yet. I mean if he got the nod against Mora(which most think he won) would people be so hard on him? He did look flat against Mayweather, but thats Mayweather. Dont forget he had Floyd in some serious trouble in the second but let em off the hook. I'd say that was one very few times you can say Floyd was rocked.

I think for the first 4 rounds and some hairy moments with Mosley's power it will be the most competitive fight for Pac outside Mayweather and where he still makes his giant wad of cash....

After that though, Mosley is going to look super super super old, and everyone is going to say, yet another past it fighter who's tailor made for Pac... fight someone young, hungry, and dangerous...

If Mayweather outworks Mosley, Pac steamrolls him, complete with intestines getting squeezed out the ass...

Sorry, as the good old Roach says, "Mosley should retire" well, that's still correct no matter what he says now to hype this "entree" fight. Which is all it is..

Seriously, I spend all the time leading up to Pac fights defending the bastard against someone like Milmascara,,, then he pulls sh!t like this and I wonder why I wasted so much breath...

Great, he beats Mosley, who looks dangerous at certain times, and utterly useless the rest... Does nothing for me past that.. I love watching Pac fight, but this would be about 10th on my list of fights I really want him to fight...

Mosley is a shot fighter, this is a money making fight. End of discussion.

Pac has gone down in my estimations from taking this fight, very similar to Haye fighting Audley IMO.

Not ideal fight would have preferred Berto as a better challenger.
