It's kind of hilarious he's like Kid Thunder or something, just really embarrassing in his comments whilst Shane always responds with humour.

He posted a picture of Shane Mosley up with grey hair and beard looking really ancient saying 'I'm going to take a dump whilst looking at pictures of this old man'.

Shane just replied, 'by the time you fight anyone of note we'll all be old'
I hope Shane does well against Manny and then closes out his career by knocking this douche out.
Thats funny. Shanes to classy to call him on it but regardless of excuse, Berto needs to check himself considering he opted out of a made fight with Mosley. What a kook.
Pretty harsh seeing 1/4 to 1/2 of his family was wiped out in one of the most catastrophic natural disasters in modern mans history, and he help spear head relief efforts..
I'd say kook not because he opted out but rather his running on at Mosley, a level he's not began to touch aside from yet to realized potential. Bit of an arm chair quarter back feel to me. Man knows tragedy as do we and others fighters, fair enough. But here I'm looking as a boxing fan before a humanitarian. Some fighters wait an entire career for a mega break out shot like that.
Losing half your family in a national tragedy or fighting Shane Mosley with an unclear mind where you could lose because of it and then your family still suffers and the effort is ungiven. I think him going to help was a better decision then trying not to let it bother him and fighting Shane because had he lost, he would have lost a lot more. Let's be honest, Berto has that fight whenever because he is a champion and his name is out there. Some fighters may wait an entire career for a break out shot like that, but they also aren't world champions with their names out there already. Berto was. So when it comes down to helping his family and the area through a national tragedy instead of fighting, I can't hold that against him.

By the way he tweeted that he isn't fighting Bailey and that it is just a rumor.
The man put his conscious and personal responsibility ahead of his financial and career interest. That says something no matter your profession. All the power to him and his close ones involved were fortunate to have him as a man and family member.

Thing is that same old man he didn't fight is set to have met the two top world premier fighters in this sport and frankly Berto is left in a career stasis lock...he's dormant right now and is in dire need of making his mark in a huge way. I don't think he's guaranteed anything at all. Certainly not others 'needing' him to call themselves champion. Clinging to a trinket and blowing out the likes of Freddy whateverhisnameis is worlds removed from kicking in the door and making an impression vs the best so others sit up and take note.
