Only 257? I thought he was pushing 300 by some of his most recent pics. I guess for fat Toney 257 is pretty slim for him now a days.

If James was going to fight regularly then that would be a OK start but he has gone on record saying he will go back to MMA for another fight.

I will be extremely upset if that is the case. I really want him to push himself for one final run. I think he can beat someone like Haye if he can just focus on training and upping the opposition level during a couple more quick fights. Otherwise what was the point in this? It can't just be about the money as he was obviously not paid very much for this bout. And you can't tell me Toney is serious in saying that NOBODY will fight him. It's frustrating.

Perhaps, but I would like to see more before my mind is made up. All I have seen is a rectangular shaped 20 second snippet of this fight. I don't really know how he looked and neither does anyone outside of those that went to watch. The snippet was probably that shape because it made him look slimmer. Still, you can never leave the JFAT alliance and I still cling on to that slim hope that he can raise it for one final push over the course of the year.

I disagree strongly with that statement. Audley is truly crap, but Toney, even as a fat HW has great smarts. In fact I wouldn't mind seeing that as another fight in Toney's quick run of tune ups in an effort to lose the weight before stepping it up again. Audley then Barrett then a top 10 guy and then a final shot. Of course, it could all go horribly wrong. But at least give it a shot and put it all beyond any doubt. And do it in a year rather than a decade like Haye did.
