Tito, just to clarify - I bet $100 on Ortiz to KO Berto. FRom when Ortiz smashed him up in the first I thought my bet was a winner. When Ortiz made that ridiculous comeback in the 6th I thought my bet was a winner.

I ended up LOSING!!! I bet the right man but lost by betting the incorrect outcome. Hence I said the fight was the worst for me. Get it!?!? Great fight. Fact. Disappointing for my my pocket. Fact.

Not fight of the year. The first half of the fight was great, and the 6th was certainly the round of the year, but there was too much holding and inactivity in the last half. Tyson Marquez and Concepcion is still the front runner for FOTY to me. Morales vs Maidana would be next.

My own view is that a FOTY ought to be just a competitive slugfest. It ought to be conducted at a high skill level. Berto's feet are absolutely atrocious and Ortiz thinks moving other than in a straight line is a felony.

On the other hand Foreman-Lyle was a FOTY IIRC.
