Without doubt there's a minority of boxing fans that hate Khan because he's a "paki." Even some on here, I bet. However, they are far outweighed by the support Khan enjoys.

He just sold 15,000 tickets and did 50,000 PPV's. There is no way possible that the vast majority of those buyers were racists paying to watch Khan lose. It's the complete opposite.

Froch has never sold more than 6000 tickets and 20,000 PPV. I bet he would love to have Khan's racist buyers

Froch hasn't had even a quarter of the publicity that Amir Khan receives. If he was promoted well, which he never has been, he'd be as big a star as Khan and Haye. Hopefully his split from Hennessey will change that.

I completely agree. The guy has taken as many challenges as any current British elite fighter, but doesn't have half the publicity. It's a shame really.

A crying shame is the whole froch story and does make you wonder how exactly it came to be that britain can produce endless shelf fighters that hardly ever produce that get big time tv coverage and yet have a world champion, a world class athlete that doesnt get a 10th of the attention he should require
