News outlets are saying it's probably Juan Manuel Marquez in Oct 2011.
I'm disappointed as that whiny Marquez got 2 shots already and couldn't get the job done. Let someone else get a turn.
It was Marquez who turned down the initial rematch with Pacquiao in the 1st place.
Juan Manuel Marquez turned down 750 thousand dollars to rematch Pacquiao (who was also offered 750 thousand), and then Marquez signed to fight Chris John instead for only about 35 thousand dollars, and then he lost to Chris John setting him back even further.
Marquez is lucky that Pac Man even gave him the 2nd fight at all after Marquez lost to John and after Marquez had already turned down a Pacquiao rematch previously.
Dammit, I hoped and prayed for an epic battle between Pacquiao and Sergio Martinez.
Maybe it'll still happen.
Ortiz, Alexander, Bradley, Berto, Maidana: none of those guys have what it takes to beat Pacquiao.

, how bout Manny fights someone at an actual weight class and not some catchweight or other "advantage", Mosley already got schooled by Floyd then got a draw vs Sergio fucking Mora, yea that's really digging deep for an opponent, Marquez is 38 and fighting the top guys in his weight class, he's without a doubt the best fighter at 135, right now he's negotiating to fight Judah for his strap at 140, and given how well Morales did against Maidana i have no doubt that Marquez would knock off quite a few of the top dogs and if he was to lose well lets not forget that the guy is closing in on 40, so what's Pacquiao's excuse to not fighting a REAL opponent

thats a good one, you are funny.
