Let me know how the book goes Bilbo if you pick it up...
It's been a long while since i've read a fiction book, but I really feel I would love sinking right into this world every night before bed... But worry the same as you that reading the book might spoil my experience of the TV series... (a blasphemous sentence for any book lover to read)... I think i'll wait until the first Season is over as well, then can dive into the book and appreciate how much more the book adds to the story I already know.... And all the characters in the series are so good that I won't mind having them as the characters in my head as I read the book.. Something you can't help if you see a movie before reading the book...
There was one thing I didn't pick up on the first time I watched the first episode, but when I re watched it I picked up on it, and that is when the Imp is in the brothel in Winterfell and his brother comes in saying "your sister craves you"... Obviously the first time around I thought nothing of that, but having seen the end, re watching I also picked up that the Imp replies, "she does share our cravings,,, our sister".
So i'm wondering/guessing if the Imp is in on the family "games" as well...
I do hope he turns out to be good.. It seems like he's a bit indifferent towards his family. Like he's with them being their brother, but at the same time, they can dig their own hole and he'll be happy to sit by and be amused watching them fall into it.. I don't know...
The other note I have is I absolutely hate prince Jofree... What a spoilt little turd he is.... In contrast, the youngest Stark girl is cute as hell with her "needle" and I feel a duel one day is called for between her and Jofree....
One of my favorite lines so far.. When the Blonde brother is talking about killing the king if he find out about stuff...
"They'll sing sonets about it.... The war for Cersei's c*nt.."
