Has Frankie Gavin ever been in a fight that wasn't soporific? He makes Matthew Hatton look explosive and exciting. Can't think of a more boring fighter in the sport. The only reason he has stopped nine fighters is because the referee stepped in to save the crowd.

Did you see his fight with Lomax last time out? I thought he was class that night and showed some great excitment and skills. What can he do if his oppoent has come to last 12 rounds and not want to fight? Mutley has been shocking tonight, he has been throwing about ten punches a round.

Sadly, the only reason I know what the word 'soporific' means is because I was reading 'Peter Rabbit' to my daughter and I had to look it up in the dictionary after it was used in that: Advanced reading.
