It is blatantly untrue to say that Pac was not the obstacle in the initial negotiations. I am not disputing that Floyd has been the main obstacle in getting the fight made following those initial negotiations either. I don't think Floyd cares less about the fight anymore. But the point is still true that Pac would not agree to random testing and that this was the big stumbling point in getting the fight made. We have since heard them say that they will accept a 14 day window and so on, but still Pac initially refused a mega fight because he didn't want to adhere to comprehensive drugs testing. It doesn't matter if they test blood or urine, the fact is they test for what is on the banned list. Having a discussion about any other testing is simply not within the criteria of the rules and not part of the negotiations so it wouldn't be relevant toward making a fight between Mayweather and Pacquiao.

I am actually in agreement with the bolded part and your statement above. The only difference is that I am more suspicious regarding Manny's initial refusal to agree to the drug testing demands. I don't think Floyd wants the fight either.

Finally, we're nearing an agreement. I don't blame you for being suspicious regarding Manny's initial refusal. It created doubts in me, too. But Manny agreeing to those drug test in the second negotiation erased those doubts. Just like if Floyd agrees to fight at some future time, it may erase my suspicion that he's a coward.
