You want the burden of prove to be with Manny to prove that he is clean so this also applies to you to prove that you are credible.

Being the good guy that I am I gave you a chance to redeem your credibility. To me, everyone's credibility are all equal. You are trying to taint someone's reputation with your lack of credibility.
