When Wlad lost to Brewster it was kind of difficult to watch because I saw it coming. Not meaning I saw it was a bad match up or anything, but I saw Wlad knock him down, throw the kitchen sink at him and then he couldn't even hold his arms up to defend himself. I seriously thought that was his last fight. I didn't see the Sanders fight live, I imagine I'd have been in disbelief for that one too.

Cotto-Margarito was difficult to watch...Miguel was winning round after round and then slowly started to succumb to what we now figure were loaded shots....very difficult to see happen, more so after the handwrap controversy with Mosley though.
Just wondering. As you were watching the Margarito-Cotto fight did it ever seem to you like something unusual was happening? It never occurred to me. Of course I still guess Margarito was clean for that fight. I thought I was looking at a fight Arguello fought a dozen times, Marciano fought half a dozen times, Tito a couple of times, Carmen Basilio fought a bunch of times. Get outspeeded early but just keep coming, look awkward but just keep coming and hurting the faster guy enough that by the later rounds it is a race to the final bell. Can the fast guy hang on or the stalking puncher finish him.

It just felt like a fight I'd seen many times before.
