I scored the fight....115-114 for Zbik.....but could have been scored the other way so fair result

Job Biscuit (Chavez wont be champ for long...unless they go the Frank Warren way)!!!

I scored the fight similarly and also felt that it could have gone the other way so it was a reasonable result.

Punch stats are overrated, but when there is such a great disparity, it is indicative of something. When has someone so clearly dominated with more punches and also lost the fight? It's unusual. Still, this fight was no robbery, it was close. Chavez Jr. got Zbik's attention with his punches, but he never hurt Zbik. His shots weren't as menacing to me as people here thought. 114-114 was a good score as was 115-113 either way.

I would have been cool with a draw considering the fact that Zbik was the title holder but it was no robbery, that's for sure. It was far from convincing but he did it, I guess..

Jr just better stay away from the elite fighters cuz he'd get hurt so bad. And Zbik reminds me of Sam Soliman who didnt have problems landing but couldnt punch a lick. Very frustrating to watch..

Soliman had the flinging monkey style, I always thought he was entertaining, but you're right he couldn't crack an egg, even in his 25 fights with Mundine. I would say though that Zbik was closer to Ottke, because his technique was okay, he just wasn't ever loading up or punching from his toes.

It was a tough fight to score because Zbik landed some beautiful punches, but there was no steam behind them. Meanwhile Chavez Jr. landed all kinds of hard body shots, and came on down the stretch.

Man what I just saw of that fight, I loved JCC Jr. body attack. I have to re-watch it but there was no robbery. Some of you guys will think I'm nuts but zbik reminded me Ray Leonard with the flashy spurts of arm punches but with nothing on them. I have to say my head is floating from all this codeine syrup in me. I've been sick over a week while out on a trip to Canada. I don't think re-watching it will change my opinion though JCC Jr deserves a lot of credit for that win.

Those BC Canadians are a little nuts flooding the streets with the Canucks win. I felt a little sorry for them getting beat 8:1 but not all that much seeing how it was an American team that beat them. My cousin was a little worried I might get swarmed because were in the crowded streets of Vancoover I was saying they are going to lose when Boston scored with a man down.
