With Taylor getting Ko'd late in the fights his body has already taken a lot of punishment leading up to that and then the body is seriously dehydrated and in need of refuelling. By the end of a hard 12 rounder the body is exhausted. Look at Mcclellan.

    In the article it stated he had to be shortly hospitalized after his fight with arthur for a severe concussion and a "small" bleeding on his brain.
