i think the exact opposite, i actually think size had NOTHING to do with it
(i had not expected haye to look so big against klitschko)
klitschkos defense is what eventually set them apart, haye wasnt expecting him to deflect punches as easily as he did, i didnt think haye would do anywhere NEAR as good as he did tho, overall haye did better than most of klitschkos recent opponents, but if u look at what he said (he wouldnt have a boring fight and would go for the KO (and he ended up running away after he KNEW he was already down)) u cant defend his performance
he took klitschkos punches pretty well too
had haye not talked shit about how he was gonna make the fight exciting i dont think hed be getting nearly such negative feedback
he actually managed to make klitschko uncomfortable for a while (and he even made klitschko press the action in the last round)
i guess now all thats left for klitschko is povetkin (tho he will probably fight the british guy first, chisora or something)
First of all, its not about taking punches (especially from a hard hitter), its about hitting and not getting hit but Haye stood right in front of wlad's jab and could not do anything to get away from it.
Wlad is a great boxer and uses the boxing technique which is jabbing and one two's, unlike sugar ray etc who uses the boxing technique in a speedy fashion which looks great.
Wlad boxed Hays head off, slowly but surely.
There was shit all wrong with david hays toe, he was looking for excuses, i mean, he danced and ran around that ring with no problem at all, threw his haymaker but missed.....the toe was fine but his pride was smashed, if your toe is broke you would see some type of sign coming from his corner, but there wasnt.
You lost haye take it on the chin (or should i say FOREHEAD), you could never beat klitchco and you never will.
I dindt buy the fight,it was 4am here ,havent seen it yet wil have to wait for utube. So whats the talk about about Haye going to ground all the time? What happened with that was he dropping out for time and a split up?
There is the sense that had Tomasz Adamek put up exactly the same level of performance, he would get a lot more credit for his efforts.
Of course he wouldn't whine about his toe at the end either.
Although to be fair he's Polish so we don't actually know or care what the fuck he says when he's talking. I doubt Merchant would even bother to interview him.
Were the HBO guys slaughterimnh Haye?
I';m surprised si many peopeke boiught thsi KO hypoe?
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
my 64 year old mom whose favourite sport is ladies figure skating thought: "david haye did a very good job and should be proud of his performance. he tried very hard."
i told my mom david haye looked pathetic and is a loser for not even trying after all the shit he's talked.
we agreed to disagree.
