Another decent weight's session tonight, managed to increase my reps in all exercises to 14. Once I can do 15 reps I add weight and drop down to 10 and build back up to 15 again.
I'm getting annoyed about my belly though.
I have this really weird W-shaped pouch, two pouches of fat either side of my belly button, that just look weird.
Will I be able to shift this eventually if I keep training and eating sensibly? In some ways its looks worse than before. It's like the fat all around it has melted off but whats left is really noticable.
I might take a picture so you can see what I mean.

I think that means you are going in the right direction. You are getting some seperation between your ab muscles. You sometimes have to look a little worse for a while on your way to your goal. If you build ab muscles but still have some fat, those raised abs will push your fat out further. But its going in the right direction.

Ah cool so it's hopefully not a permanent thing then? It is annoying me, my skin feels more loose now, like a flat tyre, it actually felt tighter when it was full of fat lol.
Also my chest annoys me. Because I'm on thyroxin and have had radiotherapy it's meant I have a bit of a gynocomastia problem (man boobs). I rreally hope I can shift them too in time.
Anyway, its still going well, Ive just finished another session 10 mins ago and am now working out for over 3 hours a week, spread over 6 days.

why you hiding your training thread on this hidden section?![]()
Training section isn't only for boxing stuff. But to be honest, it already has more action then just about any training logs. Which is weird imo. I killed mine a while ago. Got all TrainerMonkey paranoid and was sure my competitors were following me on the down low.![]()

This is the culture board YB and where I live now. I was forced out of Lets Get It On by Miles and his cuntish whinings day and night on that board so moved in here for some respite.
The trainer board is too public for me. I like it in here where I can train with the curtains closed.

Yeah just keep doing the right things and you will be fine. I trained really hard for 6 months recently and by the end thought I looked worse than I had at the start, but then it all clicked into place the next month and by the end of the 7th I was in the best shape I'd ever been in (even if I do say so myself).
I was training for a little friendly comp with two friends (£1000 prize though).
It was a 3000m row followed straight by a 5km run followed straight by a 20km cycle (all at gym though).
I smoked throughout the training but -
at first I had never rowed 1000m, but by the end I was doing 3000m in 11.31 (with saving some energy for run and bike, then the 5km run in 22.30 (after the row, not sure what I could have done fresh) then the 20km bike in 25mins (you can go unrealistic fast on gym bikes).
I couldn't have dreamed of those times at the start, especially as quite a heavy smoker.
I lost though by the way. By a minute overall. But beat my third mate by 25mins (he didn't train). I put the loss soley down to row as my friend that won could do the 3k row in 10.30.

That's encouraging. The story of your perserverence I mean, not your rowing times, they trounce mine and are rather depressing!
I think if I could lose the bit of fat around my stomach and hips, and off my tits I'd look ok, a reasonable base. Kind of like a Kiera Knightly body but with the potential to add some mass.
