I apologise if u were affended by my comment, but many people glorify the white boxer that does a little in boxing. Right away he can beat Winky, Roy, come on! be realistic. he is not that good, but that doesn't mean he cant eventually become a better fighter! You say he will beat Winky, OK, then how? What does Pavlik posses that can beat Winky?

I think Winky will beat Pavlik (note I am a blind Winky Wright supporter). However, I think you are a very foolish poster. To say that Pavlik hasn't done anything in boxing is way the fuck off.
Look at his last three fights mate. Those are good names on anyone's resume.

For one, although Pavlik is not nearly as skilled, he has massive punch volume. Also if you can remember, Winky fought at a very high weight in his last fight and looked sluggish. Him coming way down in weight, and getting older......I think those are definite question marks.

That said, I think Winky can beat Pavlik, people asy Pavlik is too big too strong, I dont think Pavlik will be the bigger man in this fight, Winky is naturally bigger then people seem to think and Pavlik isnt exactly a throw 100 punches a fight type of fighter, I think Winky could shut down his style.

Yeah Winky is definitely bigger in real life. When I met him in Vegas I was surprised at how solid he looked. That said I think his style could frustrate Pavlik. Pavlik will want to knock him out and if he can't Winky can outsmart him over 12 rounds imo. Pavlik has shown that he can go 12 rounds but Winky is a little bit trickier than Taylor.

I think it comes all down to Pavlik's jab. If his jab is on, Winky will always be slightly out of range. If Winky can get inside, he will get bullied around but get in some some good stuff himself.

Can Winky win? Possibly if he can frustrate Pavlik enough, but his chin will get tested by Pavlik regardless.

Pavlik has proved he has underrated boxing skills. He has the fundamentals down. Even though he can look sloppy with them, they work.

I expect a 12 round decision. Winky is too smart to get Ko'd. If he gets hurt, he will survive. Pavlik by 12 round decision as he is simply the fresher fighter at this stage.
