Majesty is a fan of Audley Harrison......................say no more
What Haye has said is entirely true, isnt it?
Ripping the piss out of Warren is always a good thing.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

Who exactly is this top 10 fighter they are lining up? Rahman seems set with Toney, suppose Sultan and Maskaev are available, then you have Chagaev/Valuev/Thompson/both klitchkps/Peter tied up, Povetkin won't risk his status. Most of the guys left after that aren't leaps and bounds ahead of Skelton, and after all Bonin was miraculously ranked top 10 by WBC. I just hope the unnecasary insulting of a respectful guy like Skelton is backed up by a real fight, and not this eerie feeling I'm having that he's lining up ancient Hollyfield.
Holyfield isn't in any top 10 though is he? That sure would be pretty sick, but can't see it.
Skelton is a good guy but he's ALWAYS in boring fights. The last thing Haye needs after all the hype is a terrible ugly start. Plus I doubt the Americans would be satisfied with him. And most importantly a Skelton fight would mean dealing with Warren.. which seems the farthest thing from their minds

Most of the heavyweights are ugly fighters, I think Ruiz is looking for a fight as well. He seemed to backtrack in his last statement when he said he'd be fighting someone in the top 10 of the SANCTIONING bodies, rather than a consensus top 10, which opens up the possibility of a Bonin type fight, but like you said the Americans probably wouldn't accept such an opponent.
Haye's an interesting addition to the division, and it's good that he's trying to make a noise and raise his own profile, I just don't like his tone in recent interviews and he could be setting himself for a ridicilous fall.
That's pretty much what I was gonna say, I know next to nothing about Skelton but apparently he's a mauler so I get why they don't want it but I'm not sure who he goes after.
I read somewhere (can't remember the website but I'm not making it up) that he was somewhat interested in a Toney fight. I guess the name and all that. Whether Toney's actually at the top of his list I don't know.
Maybe a Chris Arreola? I don't know I'm grasping at straws as far as trying to find an exciting heavyweight. The strange thing is I kind of like Eddie Chambers who's universally thought of as being boring as hell.
The biggest laugh off will be if haye does somehow fight a top heavy......and looses. I admit i'd laugh at that for awhile. And i like haye. I just think he should ease his way in..

I like him but I wouldn't be shocked whatever happened. I mean his chin isn't the greatest and he's had some stamina issues in the past. But that's kind of the point IMO, you don't know what's going to happen, he may get knocked out, he may knock somebody out. He's at least not a slow, sluggish, 8 punch a round lazy bastard like some and he's not like (the Ibragimov brothers) some of the guys who seem singularly motivated to simply last the twelve rounds.

I have just contacted Team Haye regarding something, I should have it in a few weeks![]()
The reason to go to heavyweight is to make bigger fights and to be a big deal in a rather boring weight class. He's just hyping himself up, which is what you'd expect.
But like most of you, it's hard to see who he thinks would be an interesting fight for him.
Skelton is fighting (Sinan Samil Sam) for the European title next month. If he were to win that one, I'd say he would be a decent first opponent at HW [after Bonin, I know].
Even if his style is all wrong for Haye, his record, including a somewhat competive fight with Chagaev, is actually pretty decent recently. Furthermore, I'd like Haye to take on the fight, _precisely_ because it just seem so wrong for him. No handpicked opponents, please!
For some reason I have a feeling Haye will end up fighting Oleg Maskaev though. Dunno why really, but somehow it just seem to make sense?
Haye will probably end up fighting Ruiz now.
Does Haye really think he is the savior of the heavyweight division? Being exciting is one thing but if he wants to survive at heavyweight he'd better learn something more about defense.
I wouldn't mind seeing him fight Brock or a top 15 heavyweight or something but he shouldnt be talking like he is already the best heavyweight on the planet when he hasn't proven it.
