The Kessler/Andrade fight was beautiful a real piece of art a schooling i could watch a 1,000x and not be bored.
Kessler/Andrade was a great display. I'm guessing that the people who are strongly backing Kess think he will be able to do the same thing to Pavlik. Both guys are come forward, high workrate pressure fighters, and Kessler handled Andrade with ease.

Kelly Pavlik is no Andrade. Andrade probably has a better chin, but he doesn't not have Pavlik's jab. He's not nearly as skilled a fighter.

Either way this is an even money fight. I think Pavlik would win, I wouldn't be surprised to see Kessler take it. I hope we get to see it.

Andrade has the best chin maybe in boxig since the Bronx Bull Jake LaMatta. His chin and his brain stem must be poured concrete with rebar in it.

You must be Danish. You sound like Royal without the racisim.

Pavlik is taller. He has longer reach. Kessler has better muscle definition, but that doesn't always transfer to strength in the ring or punch power, i.e. Jermaine Taylor. Pavlik has better workrate. He's much more relaxed in the ring. He has unbelievable timing on his jab. Kessler has a faster jab, but Pavlik has more reach and better timing. He is one of the best finishers I've even seen when he has his man in trouble.

You can make a case that Kessler could beat Pavlik, but to say that he would ruin him and that Pavlik wouldn't land much is simply retarded.

Pavlik would break down Kessler slowly with the jab. Then he would start landing the right. Kessler would land his share, too, and push Pavlik hard. Kessler would probably be ahead on the cards after 6, but Pavlik would take over in the second half.

Kessler has much better tattoos. Very fine skin art.

The fan side of me backs Kess, hes my boy.
But the boxing side of me says Pavlik.

I voted Kess, I think he wins a decision.

I too see it going the distance.

Plenty of swelling and grazing along the way though.

Tough one to call but I have just edged towards Pavlik probably because he is undefeated. But when I think about it I can't help but remember his first fight with Taylor. I picked Taylor before the fight and early on I thought to myself that Pavlik was showing he didn't belong in there with Taylor and had Taylor had the gas to finish him we wouldn't even be talking about this now I don't think.
But he didn't and I think Pavlik learned more in them early rounds of that fight than he has in his whole career and it made him a far better boxer.
Kess is a good solid fighter though and I would probably expect him to maybe beat Calzaghe in a rematch should it happen but I just sway towards Pavlik here.

I voted Kessler, I think it would be a great fight, sided with Kess because I think he's a bit more skillful and has never been down, that been said we haven't seen what Pavlik's power is like above middle and theres a good chance he could well get Kesslers attention with a big right

Kelly is a BIG middleweight and probably is a natural super middle, so I really don't see anyhting in Kessler that Pavlik has not seen against Jermaine Taylor.
