I had Froch winning by a couple. Like Big H said - Johnson landed the best single shots but Froch always responded with plenty. His rounds were more clear.

I expected to see a load of dopey robbery threads. So I guess Showtime scored it quite clear for Froch?

Like GuyIncognito76 said - there was no way Showtime wanted the final to be Ward and a substitute pensioner that fought only one of the original line-up. Bet they were shitting-it early on.

I'm a Froch fan, but I thought the fight was closer than it should have been. I think I gave the first 3 rounds to Johnson and even the ones Froch won, they were tight. If the score had been to Johnson by a point it wouldn't have shocked me.

Froch was far to reactive, he only threw decent shots when he got hurt, he should have been pressing and letting more shots go.

I worry for him against Ward, Froch seems to be trying to outbox people, but he doesn't have the skills to do it properly, his style is full of flaws and if he tries to outbox someone with more skills, he will get beat.

Froch is at his best when he is letting his shots go and landing bombs, this new boxer Froch will cause more harm than good. It's good to see him boxing rather than just brawling, but he needs to not go too far with it and forget what made him successful in the first place.

Glen only gassed due to froch pace, froch seriously adapted to glens style and clobbered Glen. This Glen was no different from the Roy jones Glen. Let's not forget froch compared to pre 2007 is way past his best. He does what he has to to win. And if people like Henry cooper who only fought who and then stab froch cos he isn't calzaghe then don't follow boxing!!!

Johnson did A TON of body work that he did not get credit for. And he hurt Froch with a couple of crisp right hands.

Froch answered back with some flashy Sugar Ray Leonard slapping combos that would hit Johnson's gloves, though occasionally a left hook would connect on Johnson.

This fight was very close much like Johnson vs. Cloud, with the big difference being Cloud HURT Johnson badly, where Froch never did.

I had Johnson winning the 1-3, 6-8, and possibly the 11th, but Froch probably won the 11th.
some of the combos were slapping. But they all weren't. Froch put something on his shots when he needed to. He back Glen up alot more in the 2nd half of the fight than the first half of the fight.

Yes, Froch has flaws, but keep it in context. He has faced Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell, Kessler, Abraham, and Johnson. It isn't as if he is facing the level of competition most top 5 ranked guys in any division face. Most guys face one elite guy and then face 2 also rans.

When you get to the top levels of the sport and are facing guys of this caliber, fights come down alot of the time to who wants it more. Froch has been very determined and done what is needed to win most of these fights.

I had it wider than anyone else ive seen, 10-2 Froch.

Bare in mind there were a handful of close rounds and I pretty much gave them all to Froch though, I just liked his workrate better and it made my score look like more of a beating than it was. Thats the way it goes with scoring sometimes, round by round doesnt always give an overall reflection of the fight as a whole.

I can agree with any score whatsoever that has Froch winning. Anything else I simply cant see im afraid. When Glen Johnson doesnt complain about the result afterward, you know he lost, you dont have to question any further. He always says he won the fight if he thinks it was truly close and he didnt say shit. The 9-3 and 8-4 scores from the judges were fair scoring for me.

I'm not doubting Froch's calibre, or his opponents. Don't forget I am a fan of Froch.

It's his style changing that worries me, but it's probably because I'm a selfish fan! I love the brawls, I preferred the Froch that fought and lossed to Kessler. All or nothing.

I had it 115-113 Johnson on the night, on a 2nd watch today I had it 114-114. Johnson got 1-3 & 6-8, while Froch had 4-5 & 9-12. There were some close rounds so I can see it as 115-113 either way or at a push 116-112, but I think the 9-3 scorecard was a joke.

I havent scored this round for round but I found it hard to give Glen 3. He made it a tough fight for Carl but he didnt do enough in the rounds. Froch won very comfortably.

I had it 8 rounds to 4. Froch out worked and out punched Johnson. Every time Johnson landed a big punch. Froch was right there answering back. This stopped Johnson in his tracks and loss him the fight. Good win for Froch.

Totally, I think some are too taken with the one big right which is then followed by two 8 punch combinations where are least 2 in each combination are getting through the gloves. If you outwork your man you deserve the round, a single big right every few rounds doesn't do it for me. I think it would have been better for Froch to initiate more though, would have made it even more convincing.

A draw would have been the most appropriate, I don't see where either pug did much more then the other. Johnson gives a good account of himself, as usual, but falls short on the judges scorecards, almost exactly what I had expected.

i had it 115-113. At the same time I saw that Froch won pretty clearly..even Glen Johnson knew he lost.
