I think it's pretty big of Abraham to take the fight at a catch weight. Either he's planning a move soon or really wants to shut Miranda up. Whats Miranda gonna say if he loses this one?

I predict Abraham by late tko. I just dont see miranda stopping or outboxing him. IMO AA has gotten even better from there first fight.
This is a truely interesting fight.
Since their last fight Abraham has fought nobdy of note.
Miranda has been beaten by new Middleweight supremo Kelly Pavlik and looked promising at SM.
A win for Miranda would make him a renewed preospect at super middle, a win for Abraham could set up a super unification with Pavlik.
The fight itself will be exciting. Miranda has retained his hunger and is looking to be a success. Abraham has seemed less ambitious taking on several mandatories and meaningless fighters.
I give Miranda the edge in this fight as he has been striving for victories as of late.
Could also set up a trilogy.

Yea, but the deductions were very harsh.
The headbutt, although was intentional, was not hard and in retaliation to Abraham constent holding. Most times a ref would let this go with a warning. If you watch the fight, even Neuman was letting it go with just a warning until Abraham dramatised an injury and walked to his corner.
The lowblows were questionable and never lower than the beltline. To me, these deductions were absurd. How many times do you watch fights and these guys hit around the belt line? It is part of boxing and they are usually ignored or the ref may ask to keep them up. Miranda never one time hit Abraham in the balls. Usually that is when a penalty may be given (after one or two warnings).

Bottom line- If the first fight was in America Miranda wins by TKO in round 5. That is pretty much agreed by everyone. Here, when a doctor and the fighter say they can't continue, the ref stops the fight.
And for if by some crazy reason the fight DID continue, I dont see any other ref deductioning Miranda these points. Possibly the headbutt since Abraham acted so well, but not for any lowblows for sure.
I love the controversy though! It will make for a great 2nd fight. I hope Showtime is allowed to show the first battle (and in HD) to build up this rematch!
I gotta give a lot of credit to Abraham for taking this rematch. With the 1st fight both guys have got something to prove!
I feel Abraham will win, if he fights smart he'll have an easier time but Miranda won't will be dangerous the whole way!

It doesn't matter how hard the headbutt was.
A foul is a foul.
There should be no leniancy for a deliberate infringement of the rules.
The sport can be dangerous. Breaking the rules makes it even more so.
Should resto have gotten leniancy for removing the padding from his gloves because he wasn't a big hitter?
I think not.
