I'd have to agree that I fail the see any talent regarding this artist.. She won the grammy for best song or something like that, and props to her because of the nominee's, she was the only one who wrote their own song.. Sounds great, but when you realize the hook to the song is "they tried to make me go to rehab, i said "no, no no"" I could write shit like that when i was a toddler.. Her performance was lackluster, I'm not a fan of her voice, and on top of it all she is disgustingly trashy looking/sounding..

Other than that, she's great... but to each his own, of course.

I agree with Tua and RP33. I cant understand the hype either, never could. Not my kind of music really, but I am pretty open minded and can usually see value in something even if I don't like it...but I still can't understand all the accolades she gets!


Oh well, I think the Grammy's are crap anyways. Same with the Oscar's, etc. They all reek of trendy elitism that has no more (in fact, less!) value to me than the opinion of the everyday person.

I LOVE HER VOICE & MUSIC.

For being British that fucken girls got Soul in her.... She writes her own music AND she can sign the shit out of Alicia Keys, Kelly Clarkson, Ashanti, Keysha Cole... Her musics got sooo many influences jazz, soul, s&b, band, orchestra I mean it's fresh and it's different from anything else out there.

*The song "You know I'm No Good" proves that. 'Love is a loosing game' proves that.

Her performance at Grammys was fucken horrible and it reminded me of when Britney performed at the VMAs eventho she wasn't stable and ready. Amys people handled that wrong Amy had no business being on stage that day at Grammys.
