Could Vitor Belfort Have Been A Good Boxer ??

I've seen a few of his fights and he has extremely quick hands, good power etc. First fight i see of his was when he took apart Tank Abbot. Anyway my question is if he wouldn't of gone into UFC could he have been good boxer ??

i don't think so, mma strikes are so different from boxers. Theres very little, head/body movement to create different angles. mma just punches forward stiffly with no regard to create different looks. vitor keeps his hands up nicely but imo a good boxer would out box him due to vitor just looking from one angle and thats straight forward. while the boxer will move side to side, in and out and uses a good boxers leg works on his toe for the whole round.

Im pretty sure Vitor did try Boxing at some point,but went back 2 MMA,I agree with the last post,he was pretty 1 dimentional with his Boxing in MMA he got out Boxed in some of his fights.If he caught u he was deadly and the fight would b over but that goes 4 a lot of MMA fighters,who all punch in a basic similar style 2 Vitor.
