God.That Waterboys tune brings all those great young feelings flooding back(See what i did there,"Flooding back"......WATERBOYS,oh well!
).What a tune that is.It's hard to believe that tune was from 1985 though, god i would have been only 4yr old.I must have been dancing to it with me Skid-marked nappie on!
.I remember it well though,"Good tune!"
Nick Kershaw's"Would'nt it be good!" was another great tune i remember too as a youngster. The video to the tune was great to at the time.I have'nt seen that video for yonks. It would be great if someone could stream it on here.I would appreciate that a lot!!!!![]()

I remember my mid teens fondly when it comes to the music I was getting into. I was discovering the Velvet Underground, Bowie and Scott Walker around that time. It was also the height of brit pop and I was into the more art end of those bands with my favourites being Suede, Pulp and even Belle and Sebastian. This is music that I come back to time and time again. Each of those Brit bands made exceptional B sides and quite a lot of them.
Am also a britpop generation man
The great oasis-blur battles
cocker running on stage and mooning wacko jacko
ace of spades
that canadian chick that won eurovision for the UK
Care free lyrics that never really advanced the song but it didnt matter because they sounded good.
Im really not getting into the logistics you touched upon............but you get the jist!
Dire Straits can strike a nerve and take me back as well.

Yeah, an interesting time for UK music. I really love the first Oasis album. Blur were a fantastic singles band for me but did have some real gems on their albums too. "I should Coco" by Supergrass was also good. "Caught by the Fuzz" is brilliant. I also thought Sleeper came up with some decent tracks.
