Mendoza is a good puncher i've seen two of his fights he is decent at best but Lacy has been struggling with the likes of Manfredo these day's. So its pick em based on Lacy's recent form.

I'd still like to see Lacy do well. He knew he was too slow and bulky against Manfredo so just hope the latest lay off has been due to working on this rather than just can't be bothered. If he's going to line up tomato cans why not fight monthly to get himself back sharp and in proper shape?

Maybe because the shoulder is still bothering him ?? i really don't know but i think Lacy is a finished fighter, i gave him one more chance against Manfredo to show me something and he didn't. Plus the Super Middleweight/Light Heavyweight are far too strong now for Lacy to win a belt.

I think Lacy deserved the benifit of doubt against Tsypko. No-one could expect him to look great after the Calzaghe humiliation, plus he had the "dodgy shoulder" excuse.. he had the "rusty" excuse against Manfredo, but in reality he looked utter shit. I doubt he'll ever get close to being considered dangerous again

    Calzaghe ruined him.

Yea i gave him the benefit of the doubt against Tsypko but come on rusty or not he should have beaten a mediocre opponent like Manfredo comfortably if he has anything left, which he hasn't.

Rangy puncher Mendoza is all shot to hell.Pulled some great upsets with R. Williams,Olijide KO's,etc. but looks way out of weight class and time.Good opponent type for Lacy who himself needs to speed it up as his best may have past him by.

I don't mind this. I want to see Lacy be more active and fighting monthly like he used to. This fighting once or teice a year stuff isn't gonna get him back in his groove.

I'd love to see Lacy get back on the scene but his last few outings have just been sheer embaresments....Big test of character if he can get back onto a decent level.

How the hell is Lacy still getting TV spots? This is a WNF on ESPN2.

    Here's Mendoza

I think Lacy loses this one.

got a re-occuring injury hence the fact why he has been so inactive recently.

I really fear for jeff, very much an impact fighter and the advancing years may catch up to him much quicker than say a taylor or froch.
