gloves help

hello people,
on my gloves were the velcro overlaps onto the elastic it keeps coming undone if you get me ? i put tape round it but its annoying to do in a rush, so whats the best thing to do ?

Sounds like they're too big?

Are they yours or are you just borrowing them?

Do you know anyone handy with a needle and thread?

I know you can buy thicker / stronger needles specifically for working with leather or canvas so you might be able to alter them in some way.

Sorry I can't be of more help without seeing them.

Maybe post a pic so someone more handy than me might be able to offer you some advice?
