Haven't heard a peep about this, he is fighting an eliminator this weekend on the Gonzalez/Nioshoka undercard.
His opponent is a typical kill or be killed Colombian fighter, not sure how the WBC justifies this match as an eliminator Rafa has been out of action for well over a year and hasn't won since Vazquez/Marquez I (more than 2 years ago). His opponents last three fights read L, L, D, he hasn't won since 2006 and is 37 years old.

This sounds like a good match to bring Marquez back to test the waters, see if his punch resistance and reactions haven't evaporated after the intense wars he had with Vazquez. I just don't think this merits being an eliminator fight.
