Woah! That was real Amir Khan territory. Got caught cold and his opponent gave him no room to breathe after getting up. Bit of a shocker that!

It's hard to tell anything from that really. Perhaps Linares is a bit chinny and just maybe Salgado is the real deal. It's just hard to make any solid conclusions on the basis of a single minute though.

Shocking, yes, but there were some signs that something like this could happen. Linares is a good technical boxer, but he needs space to think. Linares was very uncomfortable with Gamaliel Diaz and Oscar Larios when they pressured him. He was unraveling at times during those fights. He can come back from this, but he needs to needs to learn to deal with aggressive opponents better.

Damn. I though it was a 1-2 punch (jab and straight right) that got the job done. It was actually a perfect left hook. Linares should've taken the knee an buy more seconds. But obviously he was totally disoriented.
