Froch-Dirrell looks like its going to be a cracker im so happy that carls having a lot of activity compared to the past and hes gained a lot of good experience from his fights with Pascal and Taylor and I know that hes going to continue this run of tough but highly rewarding fights.

Carl will have to be aware of his speed and his good handspeed, but to be honest its nothing that carl hasnt seen before especially after just fighting Taylor. I think Carls experience down the strech alongside a huge fanbase will be a lot of Dirrell and although he might start off ok hes in for a long night. Dirrells power isnt something that Carl IMO has to worry about, hes got a solid chin and when Dirrell will notice that speed isnt the only factor in the fight I think he will lose confidence. Carls pressure punching with his natural power I think will be a strong factor in getting Dirrell off his game. Its simple for Dirrell saying im going to outbox him for 12 rounds, but at the end of the day Carls style invites a brawl and that is something Dirrell wont be able to avoid especially when his speed isnt as much as a factor as it was at the start of the fight.

I think Carl knows what he has to do and expect here, I know it will be an entertaining fight. Dirrell hasnt had a lot of championship experience like Carl has and I think thats going to be the differance in the fight. Dirrell is really stepping up to the best we have seen of Carl Froch and IMO Carls going to take him late.

and also Burnley are playing Blackburn Rovers, this is a very large derby match for us so I hope the clarets can smash the bastards!!!!!!

This is one of the best weekends for boxing in a long time....

My predictions - Froch by TKO and Abraham by TKO

I think Froch will walk through anything Dirrell has to offer and stalk him until he finally wears down. I think Froch punches harder and is more durable than Dirrell. I dont care much for Dirrell....so hoping Froch pulls it off.


I would love to see Taylor make a comeback but it is not likely to happen. He is going to expend too much energy on Arthur's high guard while trying to keep Abraham at bay. Run out of gas late.

Im gutted cuz Ive got a stag doo on Sat but I really ana watch this. Does anyone know what time the fights start . I hear Froch is on at 2am but what about Taylor Abraham ?
