Horrible news for US Soccer

Charlie Davies was serverly injured in a car wreck and it seems likely he will miss the World Cup and his entire career may be over. I hope he recovers fully but right now he's in critical condition.

I'm certain nobody is thinking about the World Cup right now but Davies was the motor of our squad in South Africa and had recently provided a big boost to our attack. I hope he recovers soon.

US always take a pretty decent side to the world cup and you should be able to at least make the last 16 (along with our lot)

I know you're not supposed to think about things like this, everything in perspective, etc., but its a pretty big blow to our chances to qualify I think. He can score goals and seems to be one of those guys that doesn't shrink away from the big moment.
