Khan won the last poll and then was poled. Floyd is not going to do anything he does not want to do.
All I'm saying is don't start making plans to see Floyd vs Maidana II yet. Should be interesting!

We'll see. Khan got crushed, like not lost, crushed on every poll but the one he pushed everyone to vote on day after day after day.

I wanted the Khan fight because I thought it was a better matchup, I was wrong. I thought poll wise it was clear the fans chose Maidana.

If the PPV did okay and only lost a little money they'll do it again because the rematch will do better. If the PPV lost a lot of money they might not do it again. Don't get it confused, money will decide rematch or no.

Floyd will move laterally in the rematch to a 116-112 type UD.

If Floyd was really prepared to fight who the fans wanted him to then he'd fight Pac, his natural opponent.

Everything you said is correct and I have to agree with you, it's all about the money.
It's just that there is this little buzz in the back of my brain saying, "It's Floyd we're talking about, and money or not, Floyd does what he wants." You know what I mean?

I do but I think it's understated how much power Showtime has in this situation. If it lost a lot Showtime can refuse leaving Floyd no option. Technically they can say you fight X or Y or you're not going to be fighting. It's not like he can say okay I'll do my own event, he's locked up.
