Unification fight for the IBF and WBC titles. This would be one for the purists.

I've been to Lee's gym many times, know his trainer and interviewed him. Covered, from ringside, his fights.
He has natural talent and has power along with toughness.
Gary Russell, is great to watch and fantastic ability and skills.
Would be a compelling and entertaining fight
Is it 4 rounds or 2? Either way you're making that assessment based on what exactly?
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

Selby clearly has some power. His KO win over Stephen Smith was brutal and he rocked Gradovich a good few times who can certainly take a punch.
Not sold on Selby as a top top operator (he's clearly at least 'good' though) but he has more pop than his record suggests.

Selby's first ten or so fights were 4/6 rounders, mainly against British journeymen who earn a living by surviving. It's hardly surprising he wasn't scoring KO's. Peter Buckley took Naz the full 6 rounds too.
Since he ironed out Stephen Smith he has 7 stoppages from 11 fights. He is cleary not a powderpuff puncher.
As for the fight with Russell - I was well impressed with Russell last time. Amazing speed. Selby has a significant height and reach advantage though which - combined with his obvious skill - should allow him to offset that. Good fight.
