This is the co-feature on Bounce, along with Malik Scott vs. Tony Thompson.

The highly-regarded Lydell (Haskell?) Rhodes is a friend of Floyd Mayweather and is trained by Mayweather Sr.

In some places he's called "Lydell" but on BoxRec he's "Haskell".

Lipinets is age 26 and Rhodes is age 28. Both are former MMA fighters.

And then there’s Lydell “The Hackman” Rhodes. Since turning pro just 4½ years ago, Rhodes has logged 24 fights, including 13 since the start of 2013. Such constant activity might not work for some fighters, but it has for Rhodes, who will bring a 23-0-1 record into his next bout October 30 against up-and-coming 140-pounder Sergey Lipinets (7-0, 6 KOs).

The scheduled 10-round contest is part of a Premier Boxing Champions card from The Venue at the University of Central Florida in Orlando (Bounce TV, 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT).

After setting a blistering pace to begin his career, the 27-year-old Rhodes has actually slowed down a bit of late, having fought just once since November. That was an eight-round, split draw against Jared Robinson on June 21 in Las Vegas, the first time Rhodes exited the ring without a victory.

Like Rhodes, Lipinets has taken on a heavy a workload to start his career, fighting—and winning—seven times since making his pro debut in April 2014.

A 26-year-old native of Kazakhstan who now fights out of Russia, Lipinets kicked things off with a six-round unanimous-decision victory over journeyman Franklin Varela in Moscow, then followed that with six consecutive stoppages. The most recent was a third-round TKO of Kendal Mena on July 8 in New York City.
