Default Fury's postponed hearing "disgraceful", says promoter Warren

I agree with Warren here, if you have a case then just get on with it and let the guy fight on or ban him, i don't see any reason for delaying this hearing unless the UK Sports "Hierarchy" are punishing Fury for things he's said and done in the past - i'm starting to think that is what's happening here

Fury is back in training following a year and a half away from the sport and had pencilled in July 8 for a return on pal Billy Joe Saunders' undercard.
Due to a pending UK Anti-Doping decision on an alleged failed test from 2015, which was due to be heard this week, Warren has outlined Fury could be made to wait until the end of the year for a ruling.
"(If it drags on with UKAD then the hearing) won't be heard until October. It's a liberty," Warren told PA Sport.
"There's going to be a scream about that; that can't be right. The man's got a living to get and this thing took place in 2015. It's disgraceful. You've either got a case or you haven't got a case.
"'I've had a test, I'm positive or I'm negative. If I'm positive and I'm just over, this is the reason why'. Why does it drag on, from 2015?
"I don't know when the (British Boxing Board of Control) will come in. You've got to ask them that. They thought this was all settled in 2015.
"If (UKAD) chuck it out, he's on the card (July 8, when Billy Joe Saunders defends his WBO middleweight title against Georgia's Avtandil Khurtsidze in London). I spoke to (Fury) and he's training hard.
"(UKAD) have got a problem. He's 28 years of age: boxing's a young man's game, he's entitled to make a living. If he's done wrong then get it over with. How can this be right?
"Somebody's got to intervene, even if it's the minister for sport (Tracey Crouch). This on any level can't be right."
A possible clash with Anthony Joshua in April 2018 now looks a serious doubt for Fury, especially now that Wladimir Klitschko has exercised his rematch clause.
As WBN exclusively revealed on Tuesday, Joshua has asked for special dispensation to avoid a mandatory with Kubrat Pulev and face Klitschko for a second time, leaving any Fury fight off the menu until at least late in 2018.
A ban from the UKAD would complicate things even more as Fury attempts to piece together his career after sinking into a drug and alcohol-fuelled depression on the back of what should have been his greatest night against Klitschko in November 2015.

It certainly doesn't sound right or fair, but they admitted that Fury hasn't helped himself telling the testers to fuck off!
One thing that I keep thinking is that UKAD must be pretty confident that they have something if they insist on keeping going.
However, if at the end of this it all fizzles out and he can box again, the first thing I would do if I was team Fury is sue the fuck out of UKAD!

When you look at the "Favours" Anthony Joshua is getting from the IBF compared to how they treated Fury you really do have to feel for the guy and wonder if there is infact a genuine witch hunt against him. He (Fury) said some pretty shocking stuff post Klitschko to the point where Politicians were voicing their opinions against him.

Exclusive: ‘Tyson against the tide’ - Peter Fury reacts to Anthony Joshua’s IBF exception request

International Boxing Federation President Daryl Peoples is currently considering a delay in mandatory duties for Joshua, despite Bulgarian brute Kubrat Pulev being informed he would be next in line.

A rematch with Wladimir Klitschko was contracted and unavoidable for Joshua, whilst Pulev - along with promoters Sauerland, have been asked for their input into the possibility of facing the Briton in 2018 instead.
Peoples told WBN: "Last Thursday (May 11th), the IBF received an exception request from Matchroom on behalf of Anthony Joshua.
"I'm expecting a reply from Sauerland on behalf of Pulev either today or early tomorrow (Tuesday or Wednesday).
"The Board will consider the exception request during the convention next week and determine what actions the IBF will take as soon as a decision has been made."
Fury has now reacted as nephew Tyson was in a similar situation when defeating Klitschko in November 2015, also having to follow through with a contracted return which ultimately cost him his title.
Vyacheslav Glazkov was the number one at that time and Fury was relieved of his title within days of his greatest win, with the Russian then going on to lose in a vacant championship match against Charles Martin.
Joshua would then rip Martin’s belt away in the very first defense a few months later and Peter believes it shows a certain level of contempt for Tyson, who was affected mentally by what he saw as a harsh injustice in the wake of his greatest win.
“I find this just shows the level of tide against Tyson as we had no such option allowed to us,” Fury exclusively told World Boxing News.
“Instead, we got stripped of the IBF when Tyson won it fair and square. Let’s be honest, they couldn't wait to take his belt.
“However, and as you can see, we have been embroiled in various politics since he won the titles from Wladimir Klitschko.
“It makes you wonder whether we may have been much better off losing to Klitschko instead of winning in Germany!”
Fury is currently training for a possible comeback on the Billy Joe Saunders undercard in July, although the 28 year-old faces a further angst as a UK Anti-Doping Agency hearing could be postponed until October.

What UKAD are doing, and what they do, is pathetic.

You participate in a sport where you can legally kill someone and we suspect you of enhancing your ability to do so by taking drugs. Until we get it all sorted out, if you ask us nicely, we'll allow you to continue to participate in this sport knowing that you might be cheating.

The Fury's and Warren, can all fuck off.

Tyson isn't absent from the ring because of UKAD, he's absent because he's a wanker and sticks coke up his snout and pretends he's got mental health issues. Hughie is still fighting aint he? All this 'a mans got to make living' bollocks.

Peter Fury is a prick as well. All for giving it the big un over social media, doesn't like it when it comes back at him. They were perfectly entitled to petition the IBF for an extension of his mandatory defence. From memory the IBF said you've got to face Glavkov, the Fury's instead of petitioning them for an extension, went off on one calling them pathetic and a disgrace. They didnt receive something they didnt ask for. Divvy cunts.

This persicution complex they all have going on is pathetic, it got old a long time ago.

Fury was never even allowed to ask for any grace from the IBF though, they gave him a solid ultimatum within days of beating Klitschko , fight Glazkov or lose your belt.

There is no doubt at all that AJ is getting completely different treatment to what Fury did because he is, this is why i'm as sure as i can be that Fury's past actions and what has come out of his mouth is affecting his career now.

Aj is looking like he will get a pass where as the IBF expected Fury to fight Klitschko and Glazkov at the same time?

Miles apart the way each fighter has/is being treated so let's wait and see what happens if AJ and Wlad fight a rematch - will the IBF strip AJ like they did Fury and then we'll see Pulev v Takam for the vacant title just like we saw with Martin v Glazkov when Fury was stripped.

As far as i'm concerned if this pans out any other way than AJ being stripped for fighting a Wlad rematch then it's pretty disgraceful how two fighters in exactly the same circumstances can be treated so differently by the IBF

They could have asked, or as it comes at a price, asked if they could ask. Instead they go on the offensive.

*Just checked, they would have got knocked back anyway, the date for Purse bids was already set.

If the IBF have sent out a notice for Joshua Pulev purse bids their situations are identical. If they havent, Joshua/Hearn has got the right to ask for the extension.
