Friday night at the Doncaster Dome in Doncaster, England, Denis Hobson of Fight Academy hosts their first boxing event of the new season.
Billed as “Demolition at the Dome” – the main contest of the evening will be Graeme “Dezzie” Higginson’s second defence of the British Masters Light Welterweight title against Stefy Bull. Higginson won the title in December and has since successfully defended the title against tough Stoke Boxer, Gary Reid. The Blackburn man has a record of 6-6-1 (3).
“Supersonic” Bull hasn’t fought for nearly 11 months having won last time out against Kristian Laight. After a change of Promoter, homeboy Bull is looking for his third title in a different weight class. Bull’s most recent loss was against Bolton’s Amir Khan in 2007 and his record now stands at 25-5-1 (5).
