your link is not working ?
If we stop being naive for a second - they are going to say whatever they can to stop or lessen the actual time. They've already done the 'coming quietly' bit.
Here's the link. Let me out or I don't fight anymore. What a fucking baby.
Mayweather seeks to serve jail sentence under house arrest - News - ReviewJournal.com
A dont know about him being a fucking baby, Going from his life style to a jail must be a real shock to his system, ave been on remand before for two weeks and it was brutal being locked up 23hours aday.
He seems to be behaving just fine. Maybe his time can be reduced for 2 months if he continues that way. I wonder if this will really damage his career after reading about the calories he eats per day and what not.
put him in with the general population if he wants to be there.
its not gonna do him much good. there's greater chance he'll get harassed or threatened possibly end up in a fight, could get killed... which will ultimately delay his release.
Rubin Carter's probably laughing his ass off after reading that article. Granted I've never landed a time in the slammer and not planning on doing so, but for a tough guy like Floyd, didn't expect him to crack before the first month was over. House arrest? Dude's acting like he's terminally ill and in need of special medical attention. Go eat your jail food and be done with it, only got a little more than 2 months anyway.

Cant get the link but Paris Hilton Ho HO HO!
If floyd, lindsey lohan and the like can go to jail and talk those morons into treating thier time there like the embassy suites then more power to them. These guys aren't in jail for being cub or boy scouts of the year. They are shady people who broke the law, now fans expect him all of the sudden to be a stand up guy and spend time in the hole ??!! Be real, that's talk of a hater. Celebs get special treatment and so what. Don't like it bust your ass in life and be one but don't hate on those that are. Should floyd and his team say "hey no special treament put me with poplulation i'll fight my way through my time. Yea right. Like any of you would if you were him . No one bitched when he was allowed to push him time back so we all could see a silly fight. Where was the outrage of injustice then.....Of course he wants to spend his time in prison as plush as he can, and so would you. There are people who kill others and get less time in jail then floyd will get.

i didnt pay much attention to why he went to jail, i just assumed he beat his wife up....
does anyone have a link or just some imput on what really happened?
It's his own silly fault that he is in there. Finally they said no to his shenigan's and lil Floyd finally faces the consequences. Ah diddums.
Learn your lesson, Floyd and don't repeat your mistakes. Simple as.
I agree that celebs should get special treatment, but that depends on the occasion. Going to jail isn't one of them, not by a long shot. Mar, the guy is asking to be placed under house arrest. If he was asking for more time in the gym, more time outside of his cell, Chinese take out food, cable TV, then so be it. I guess he "deserves" it for being a celebrity. The entire point of them being placed in jail is to do time and be punished for breaking the law, if you start letting them out and putting them in house arrest just because they're celebrities then you're missing the point of why they're there in the first place. Not even hating on the guy, I can't praise him enough for footing the bill on Frazier's funeral or his other charity work. But let's be real here, does he or does he not deserve to remain in jail for the duration of his sentence?
