Default Chad Dawson vs. Glen Johnson II is signed and sealed!

Dawson-Johnson II is signed! | Fightnews - Boxing News Updated 24/7

Its for Dawson's IBO Title. I see Dawson winning another decision that'll be a little more convincing this time. Props to him for taking this fight, because the risk isn't worth the reward.

Props to Bad Chad now what can the haters say? He's 6 foot 3 and to big for suppermiddle were all the names are and is in a dead divison with no sexy names there. He might be able to get a 168 in a catchweight fight but i can't see it with them having so many good names to go after. Dunno what he's gonna do after Johnson. I guess see how Tavaris Cloud does against Clinton Woods.

Hatton the Hammer who else could he have fought? Hopkins has no interest and Adriano Diacuno hasent got abig enough name. Winner of him vs Pascal would deserve a shot though.

To be honest there isnt a hell of a lot out there at 175

hopkins wont fight at the weight again, tarvers been seen off twice already and in the case of johnson its a 40 something year old tough cookie thats already been cracked.

Id of liked to of seen a 168er like kessler or froch moving up, perhaps even at a catchweight.

Kessler.....what the hell is going on with that guy these days? I think Kessler would give him fits.

What else could he do? Tarver had a rematch clause and HBO spent the whole Tarver rematch talking about how the only fight out there for him was a Glen Johnson rematch. Basically, he didn't have much of an option. Most of the fans have called for this. People are waaaaaaaaaay too harsh on Dawson IMO.

Yea I guess this is alright. Chad Dawson is pretty much king of the Light Heavyweight Division for awhile I don't see anybody beating him. Unless some of the Super Middleweight's start moving to Light Heavyweight then Dawson might get challenged, but for the most part I think Dawson might dominate this division much like Calzaghe dominated the Super Middleweight division for years and years.

I agree the Tarver fight was unneccessary. But this one is justified, alot of people think Johnson(myself included) pulled off a draw or narrow win. When its that close you gotta rematch until its clear. Dawson is a stand-up type of guy, and I'm sure he wants to prove to everyone he can definitavely beat Johnson.

It's a fair fight IMO. First fight was close and a rematch is justifiable. Dawson isn't all that good, but he is top of a weak division. There aren't a whole heap of names he could be fighting unless he can get some of the SMW's to move up.

I thought Johnson won the first fight and it was a good fight so I am glad he has given him a return. Dawson is more experienced and Johnson is older so think Dawson should beat him.
