  • Froch Tips Luke Campbell To Become World Beater

    Carl Froch has backed new stable mate Luke Campbell MBE to go on to win major honours in the professional ranks.

    Campbell announced that he was turning pro with Matchroom Sport and Eddie Hearn in a huge July show in his hometown of Hull, joining the current World champions Froch and Ricky Burns as well as World title contenders George Groves, Darren Barker, Kell Brook and Tony Bellew in Britain’s best boxing stable.   • Goodwin Pumped Up For Fagan London Lightweight Showdown

    Its third time lucky for Chesters Chris Goodwin and Dublins Oisin Gael Force Fagan, as their long awaited clash for the vacant World Boxing Federation Inter-Continental Lightweight crown is finally set to take place at York Hall in Bethnal Green, London this coming Saturday.

    The pair were originally due to fight each other, in Cork, on December 15 last year, but the fight was cancelled following Goodwins sister being involved in a near fatal car crash. (more…)

  • Irish Squad Confirmed For Cork, Dublin Clashes With The French

    The Irish squad for the May 3rd and May 5th Elite internationals with France at the Rochestown Park Hotel in Cork and the National Stadium in Dublin has been confirmed.

    John Joe Nevin, Paddy Barnes and Michael Conlan, who between them have won four medals at the last two Olympics, will wear the Irish bantamweight, light-flyweight and flyweight vests versus Les Bleus. (more…)
