So you don't want to answer the question about GGG being the favorite :confused: many great fighters had better starts than 47-0 :p but they took challengers and didn't establish their greatness until after losing :p Zarate was 52-0 before moving up to challenge Gomez and Zarate is not even considered the best bantamweight ever ;) Benvenuti was 65-0 with a 120-0 amateur record before his first loss :D not to mention the number of hall of fame fighters other greats have fought ;)
All that other stuff is irrelevant :-\ sure he's been P4P number 1, whatever that's worth, it is a highly subjective mythical list after all :p but when was the last time he wasn't the favorite going in :confused: Mayweather needs to challenge himself if he wants to be considered an all time great :p

I have Floyd 46-1 over 18 yrs ;D but what are numbers. Spadafora spanned 18 but should have been 48-1 :-X. He also did more jail time than Floyd.

Maywether has fought the best throughout his career. He has beat them all.
He has almost single handedly forced the issue on increased PED testing. Before he started insisting on it 6 years ago it was hardly considered. Now it's a staple for most big fights. This helps protect the fighters. Your personal feelings about VADA vs USADA are irrelevant compared to the good being done by the god being done to end the cheating.
The outside the ring stuff is very important to Floyd and it obviously factors into his perception of himself as the best ever.
He's going to have had a 19 or 20 year career where he's fought the best and beat them all. He'll retire with his health and brain fully intact, not a drooling, shaking vegetable.
He'll be rich as fuck, not some half way house living bum.
He'll have managed his career his way without getting screwed over by shady promoters and without having to answer to anyone but himself.
No other fighter has ever had this much control over their own careers. If you think that's nothing then you just have too narrow a view of what the sport and business of boxing is really all about.
He's been able to achieve all these amazing feats by being such a great fighter.

We'll have to agree to disagree about Floyd fighting the best (and beating them all :-X) :p apart from Genaro I can't think of a fight where Floyd wasn't the favorite, he never challenged himself as all the previous greats have :-\ you may appreciate the business side of boxing but I prefer to concentrate on what is done inside the ring :lickish: other matters outside the ring like doing time for beating a woman does not concern me in regards to a fighters accomplishments between the ropes ;D
