Zarate was 52-0 before moving up to challenge Gomez and Zarate is not even considered the best bantamweight ever
Benvenuti was 65-0 with a 120-0 amateur record before his first loss
not to mention the number of hall of fame fighters other greats have fought
All that other stuff is irrelevantsure he's been P4P number 1, whatever that's worth, it is a highly subjective mythical list after all
but when was the last time he wasn't the favorite going in
