ElTerrible, you are retarded. As if Tyson's loss to Williams had any significance or bearing over how an '80's Tyson would fare against either of the Klit's.
Just pure Tyson hating in its crudest form.
Idiot.

as if the fact that Tyson "lasted" two more rounds against Lewis is any indication that he put up a better fight
Miles you're not one to come chiming in, crying when anyone mentions the now infamous Khan/Barrera aftermath tantrum
the whole mess started because ross goes into Taeth mode whenever anyone says that Tyson wouldn't have walked through "fill in the blank", it's ridiculous how he says that one doesn't know about boxing when they say that a Legend in Joe Frazier would have most likely been able to deal with Mike Fucking Tyson, get the fuck out of here
PS: the only reason that the Williams and McBride fights were mentioned were because Tyson still demonstrated a trait that he displayed even in his prime, that if he was faced with adversity he turned into a heartless bitch, might wanna pick up on that too jerk off
It's a bloody stupid argument. It is like suggesting that Khan's 'win' over Barrera meant anything. It meant nothing.
You can't take losses to journeymen at the end of a career as being anything more than just symbolic.
It happens to everyone and doesn't detract from what they once were.
thing is Tyson was always a mentally weak fighter, even in his prime, the first time someone stood up to him and went blow to blow with him, he lost, it's not a coincidence that it became a habit afterwards either, he barely made it out alive against Ruddock, and well you know how the Holyfield fights went, it's absurd to say that Mike Tyson was ever a mentally strong fighter when faced with adversity and yes someone stepping up to you and going tooth and nail with you would be adversity to a prime Tyson seeing how everyone would basically roll over for Mike when he was in his prime
You are talking gibberish.
Tyson beat Ruddock fairly easily both times and took plenty of leather. That is not a man who is mentally weak. Tyson only became more mentally vulnerable after 3 years inside and it would do the same to any fighter.
I maintain my previous argument. You evaluate a fighter on his prime and prime Tyson was a monster.
Yes your right, Mike only wan the first but on all three judges cards and had that been the the Tyson that fought Holmes, the one that rarely got hit, Lewis would have turned in to Bonecrusher and held on like he had a habit of doing.
Yes, this was an old shot Tyson who could really not do much with Lewis but he still managed to last 2 full rounds longer. Then Vitali gets the (apparently) underprepared version;D
If Mike can last 8 rounds with one of the divisions biggest ever punchers by just basically taking right hands for 8 rounds, I do believe the version from 14 years previous who is as much known for his defence as his speed and power would have
At the very least lasted the full 12, whereas a "prime" Vitali couldnt last as long as the shot version of Mike.;D
based on what? Lewis is of a higher caliber than Douglas and he got the job done against an undefeated Tyson, who's to say that Tyson would have even beaten a focused Riddick fucking Bowe? funny you keep bringing up Vitali's loss to Lewis yet that's not even considered the best or "prime" version of Vitali, the Vitali Klitschko of recent years is considered to be a lot more technically and strategically skilled than the one that took on Lewis, albeit an older version, Mike couldn't handle a 6'3 Douglas who wasn't known for having a great chin pumping his jab in his face, who's to say that he would have been able to cope against a 6'7 iron kettle for a chin Vitali who has 9 inches of reach and more or less 40 lbs of muscle on him and whom doesn't take a back step? seriously bro, Tyson in his prime was good....but he wasn't THAT good
Vitali is far too slow and ponderous to handle a prime quick Tyson.
Why do we rate Frazier so high? If it was not for Ali would any of this be discussed? These 2 matched well with each other and 2 out of the 3 fights were historical. But who has Frazier really beaten? I guess Buster Douglas should be rated higher on the all time greats because of his outstanding win over Tyson but then he met his Foreman in Holyfield. Tyson has to much in his arsenal and would uppercut Frazier to death and put him to sleep inside 3. Just my opinion.
only beat Ali? first off he had wins over Chuvalo, Bonavena, Buster Mathis, Quarry, Ellis, Bob Fucking Foster, and beat Ali when he was undefeated, the fact that he ONLY lost 4 times and only to two men who are LEGENDS in the Sport (the oldest HW champion in history and the man considered the GREATEST hw champion of all time) there is no question in why Frazier is rated so highly, given the man's size and all that he accomplished with so many handicaps (size, short arms, only weighed about 205, partially blind most his career, dangerously high blood pressure) he was a damn overachiever plain and simple, and Ali and Tyson aren't even on the same level, that's like comparing an iPad and it's Thailand mass produced knockoff
Ah now your just reaching...
Lewis didnt face the best version of Vitali? Well what version of Lewis did Vitali face? Weak argument. Plus he gave up against Byrd.
It is well known Mike wasnt training properly for the Douglas fit, getting beaten up in sparring (that had never happened before). He still managed to drop Douglas hard late in the fight. If Mike had still cared about the sport rather than the paydays then he would have gone through Douglas.
Also, Sanders dropped Vitali in the first and had him worried with an Audley look!
WHAT FIGHT WERE YOU WATCHING?!?! Vitali slipped in the first round, theres a reason it was called a slip, look who's reaching hahahaha
i'm just gonna leave it there dude, cause seriously your life revolves around the delicate concept that Tyson was a God in the ring, and I have now come to realize that if that's taken from you that you're going to crumble into a mess just like your hero :-X:-X:-X
All Tyson fans have are cop outs: Tyson wasn't training, Rooney wasn't in his corner, Cus died, Don King ruined him.....excuses on excuses.
Tyson had no heart
