ElTerrible, you are retarded. As if Tyson's loss to Williams had any significance or bearing over how an '80's Tyson would fare against either of the Klit's.
Just pure Tyson hating in its crudest form.
Idiot.

as if the fact that Tyson "lasted" two more rounds against Lewis is any indication that he put up a better fight
Miles you're not one to come chiming in, crying when anyone mentions the now infamous Khan/Barrera aftermath tantrum
the whole mess started because ross goes into Taeth mode whenever anyone says that Tyson wouldn't have walked through "fill in the blank", it's ridiculous how he says that one doesn't know about boxing when they say that a Legend in Joe Frazier would have most likely been able to deal with Mike Fucking Tyson, get the fuck out of here
PS: the only reason that the Williams and McBride fights were mentioned were because Tyson still demonstrated a trait that he displayed even in his prime, that if he was faced with adversity he turned into a heartless bitch, might wanna pick up on that too jerk off
It's a bloody stupid argument. It is like suggesting that Khan's 'win' over Barrera meant anything. It meant nothing.
You can't take losses to journeymen at the end of a career as being anything more than just symbolic.
It happens to everyone and doesn't detract from what they once were.
thing is Tyson was always a mentally weak fighter, even in his prime, the first time someone stood up to him and went blow to blow with him, he lost, it's not a coincidence that it became a habit afterwards either, he barely made it out alive against Ruddock, and well you know how the Holyfield fights went, it's absurd to say that Mike Tyson was ever a mentally strong fighter when faced with adversity and yes someone stepping up to you and going tooth and nail with you would be adversity to a prime Tyson seeing how everyone would basically roll over for Mike when he was in his prime
You are talking gibberish.
Tyson beat Ruddock fairly easily both times and took plenty of leather. That is not a man who is mentally weak. Tyson only became more mentally vulnerable after 3 years inside and it would do the same to any fighter.
I maintain my previous argument. You evaluate a fighter on his prime and prime Tyson was a monster.
All Tyson fans have are cop outs: Tyson wasn't training, Rooney wasn't in his corner, Cus died, Don King ruined him.....excuses on excuses.
Tyson had no heart
Tyson never won a fight where he faced adversity, the Klitschko's have....FACT
I suppose if you count there era from the Brewster fight onwards then yeah they are dominating.
Thats like being the the retarded bully in primary school and the year above him has just moved up to secondary.
I still say that the contenders in the eighties are far more skilled than the Kiltschkos today.
I like how this devolved into a Tyson vs The Klitschko's thread....say what you will about either side 'Smokin' Joe Frazier was never an easy fight, even Foreman will admit that.
...Also just to point this out Wlad has fought (and beat) more southpaws than any other heavyweight champion. So from a strict style standpoint, Wlad has had more thrown at him.
