I changed my scoring because at the time i was doing RBR and i missed some things, the 2nd time i watched it in better quality my scoring did slightly change because i had missed some things and Pacquiao did a bit better than i thought, and he landed more punches than i thought he did. I changed the scoring on my own accord not because of anyone else, I go with my own opinion. You keep bragging about how good your boxing knowledge is and how no one can counter your argument well i just did and you had no reply to it.

That's why I don't care about the whole rep system and all that like you. You always try to say all the right things to please people that you think are your buddies in here while I continually drop gems on all.
If you do come from boxing family and all that then you need to get your focus back man because I used to actually enjoy reading your posts until somewhere along the line you lost your focus.
I don't need to break down my whole pedigree on you about my boxing knowledge but it's clear from the posting that I'm a realist. I don't rely on misinformation or compare past guys with current ones or try to act like I know Ali and those type of guys fight game inside and out. What I do know is the here and now.
You can rate a guy who looks great against non worthy opposition as high as you want but it takes away from your credibility , not mine. I rate a guy by accomplishments.
If a guy wins a world title in 8 weight classes by fighting the most vulnerable guys it doesnt mean as much a guy fighting in the same loaded wight class his whole career and fighting the best fighters in the world.

Mayweather beat some of the best fighters at that time at Super Featherweight, Lightweight, i'll admit after he moved up to Jr Welterweight his opposition level did drop a bit, but i think his opposition has improved lately, ok im not happy about Mayweather rematching ODLH, but still its a good match up and so was the Hatton match up. And me saying things to please people ?? you must be joking, i considered Julius Rains to be one of the people i liked on this site but i had a big argument with him. Lets get one thing straight i will debate with anyone if i disagree with them. I don't care if i like them or not if i disagree with someone i'll let them know about it. Im not trying to be nasty but you said that no one can counter your argument i just did that and you had no reply to it. I don't need to break down my pedigree because I make enough sense not to need to brother. You talk about past fighters and things and that's all good and gravy but that's not my era. This is. I love this boxing era and I want to see the great fighters fight each other even if it means me seeing one of my favorites lose.
How can a guy duck so many guys and still be considered the best by beating unworthy opponents. Hatton was clearly coming in with his hands down and it was only a matter of time before he would get caught. Collazo hurt him at ww too remember? As for DLH, how can anyone have expected him to be anything more than rusty after 1 fight in 3 or 4 years and that 1 being against a punching bag named Mayorga.
I give him credit for the Zab victory but I'm not buying that he was on his way to stopping him because it wasn't even close. Baldomir, i don't even need to comment on that 1 and Sharmba....Williams beat him worse.
I still think Williams would be a serious threat to floyd because even though floyd is able to move well, he would not mix it up enough to keep Williams honest like Quintana did.
You guys give floyd credit for what he hasn't done. Everytime some1 brings up a name, all you hear is , are u crazy, floyd would destroy him or there's isnt enough money.
Meanwhile, Pac could ko 100 guys that are not on his level and would not get the credit because he doesn't go around telling the world he's unbeatable.
You were talking like you had me stumped ICB but that can't happen because you have alot more to learn about trusting your own judgements.

At the end of the day, if they weighed the same and fought, i'd expect a Mayweather victory time and time again.
That's not a knock on Pac by the way. He's awesome, i just think Mayweather is extra extra special.

I was surprised to see him exhausted and holding to dear life on some rounds, specially round 8. I've seen him clearly dominating in other fights but not against Marquez.
Sure, lots of boxing experts, commentators, fans, etc. disagree with the desicion but oh well, I guess he won. Can't change that. Nice exciting fight anyways.

Pac was squinting a lot in round 8. That was a big round for JMM. I thought he was gonna finish Pac there, or an EM-MP 1 deJavu atleast. But ofcourse, being a true warrior Manny is,.. he turned the table and gave Marquez a nastier cut in the eye too.
Note: Marquez got cut twice. One from the accidental headbutt, and the other is from the punch.

I had JMM winning by a point.However,it was a close fight and could have gone either way. These guys could have 10 fights,each would be exciting and each would be close.
I'm not dropping JMM any places in my P4P lists because it was such a dam good and close fight.He gave Manny hell and vise versa. The reason I'm putting Manny P4P number 1 is he showed some improvements tonight to deal with a stylistic nightmare.He had excellent upper body movement,not as off balance as he used to be and blocked punches to compliment good,controlled agression.He's still primarily a 1 handed fighter but uses his right more than he used to. And he won.It was close but for him to beat JMM is a great achievement.
I told you guys it would go to points.;) Tremendous fight,boxing fans are the winners.Although I have a feeling we won't be seeing JMM again,I don't know why.:(
