If Vitali beats Adameck...
Why doesn't he fight Haye too? I think this fight will be a lot more entertaining then a Wlad fight. And how happy would both Klits be if they both beat Haye? Or if Haye beats Vitali maybe somewhere down the line he could rematch Wladamir.
I was very dissapointed with Haye this weekend, however I still believe he is top 5 out of all the heavyweights and he still can bring interest to the devision even if it's him just getting beat again. I do wonder where Haye will go from this loss though... Chris Arreloa or David Tua would bring interest for me.
-
Re: If Vitali beats Adameck...
I would like to see Haye face Arreola, Thompson, Povetkin or some other game Ring Mag top 10 HW before he gets a title shot to prove that he can be a force against top ten HWs and wont just run the whole time. He needs to earn another shot after that last performance.
I would rather see Wlad fight Arreola, Thompson, Povetkin than Haye again.
-
Re: If Vitali beats Adameck...
I have no interest in seeing 13 against a giant. I have now seen him fight two in Valuev and Wlad and he's averaged THROWING 20 punches a round.

how the hell would it be more entertaining when Haye was the one running, he'll do the exact same thing against Vitali, if he couldn't even drop Wlad he has no chance of stopping his brother, Vitali by 8th round TKO, and then Haye will say he fractured his pinky
-
Re: If Vitali beats Adameck...
Adamek-Haye is the key to something entertaining to the bone, I'll campaign for it the same way Bilbo campaigns for the Amazon Kindle, should say a lot about how much I want and believe in that fight.
-
Re: If Vitali beats Adameck...
Vitali is putting the pressure on Haye by calling him out. How bad would Haye look if he chose to retire aged 30 instead of meeting the older brother in a shot at redemption. Its getting embarassing for Haye.
I dont think Vitali is overlooking Adamek as he is too much of a true professional to do that but he must be aware Adamek cant hurt him so it will be a case of cutting off the ring against the Polish fighter. We know what Tomasz brings to the table. He has been practising the style he is going to use against Mcbride and Arreola. He will use his speed and box from the outside. As weve seen last week, backfoot boxing is not the way to beat the Klitschkos so I think Tomasz will have really up his workrate and be fit as a flea boxing in and out of range all night making Vitali look slow. The Cuban had a decent opener until his knee went and he was as fat as they come. If he can use the ring then Adamek definatley will.
-
Re: If Vitali beats Adameck...
Haye vs ademek could be good.
Haye vs any of the americans would be shit cuz haye would beat all of them easily.
Haye vs Vitali is very very likely IMO. vitali want's some of the big money his brother had and I think he wants to beat on haye too.
-
Re: If Vitali beats Adameck...
Hey why the heck not. Margo got rewarded for cheating with a title shot and big payday. Let haye get another as a reward for fighting like a eight year old ( draws pictures on shirts like one anyway) Vitali should have no problem, i hear haye has a cronic finger nail injury almost as bad as his pinky toe. They should have josh clottey on the undercard against floyd. Bill it as deserving champs, and put it on double ppv. Make us pay for both the main event and undercard seperate. Itd be worth every penny.

WOW! THAT was a high quality rant!

Re: If Vitali beats Adameck...
I'm a fan of Adamek and have picked him to win in every fight he's won.
Sure some of them were quite obvious but if memory serves me right a lot of people thought he'd lose to "USS" I didn't and a handful of people also picked Banks, Bell & Arreola to beat him. I didn't.
However I have to say that his style is taylor made for Vitaly.
I only see this fight going 1 way and that's Vitaly via TKO.
I think Adamek-Haye or Haye-Arreola would be interesting.
I genuinely don't think Haye wants any part of Vitaly. I really don't...
-
Haye didn't want to fight Vitali before the Wlad fight and I bet he doesn't want any part of him now.
Apparently Golden Boy wanted Haye to fight Vitali to begin with because they didn't think Vitali could handle Haye's movement.
I don't care what Haye does as long as he does it 100% don't get another fight and then half ass it again....that was pathetic.

Re: If Vitali beats Adameck...
Haye is scared of fighting Vitali. It's obvious. Claims he has 'no beef with Vitali' some days, then says he 'would be interested in other days'. He isn't making the right noises and even Vitali said he isn't even sure Haye wants to fight him. I've said it all along, as have many others, that he had a CHANCE against Wlad (but evidentally got found out) but he has ZERO chance against Vitali. Vitali would knock him out. I just hope he retires now as I'm bored of him.

So basically you said "I would put my money on Haye v any other heavyweight" but you MEANT you would favor Haye over anyone outside the Klitschko brothers (I had to assume you wouldn't take Haye in a rematch vs Wlad just based on how you wrote it...I don't like to assume).
You're still showing Haye a great deal of respect. He may have the skill set to beat loads of heavyweights, but the heart and tenacity remain in question.

dont be daft, if he had no heart he wouldnt have travelled to Germany under wlads terms (also france v mormeck and germany v valuev)
Haye lost convincingly, does he deserve a rematch in boxing terms, probably not, wlad was much the better fighter
Really if you had to bet your life savings on haye v any other hw (other than the klits) would you bet against haye?
home field advantage is big in boxing as proved in the super 6, ward battered kessler, do you reckon it would have been that easy in denmark? haye has heart

Erics44, is the only reason you are a fan of Haye because he is British? I can't for the life of me understand why you rate him so highly. Before the Wladimir fight, you said that you liked Haye for his potential, but now that you've seen him against Wladimir, you still believe he has potential? What did he show you in that fight that makes you have faith in him? He didn't show me anything. To be fair, I could see competitive fights with Arreola, Adamek, Povetkin, Chagaev, but I don't see how you could feel super confident he'd win those fights after his last and worst performance.
Let's all be honest though, Haye isn't fighting Adamek, he isn't fight Arreola, he isn't fighting Chagaev or Povetkin, he just wants the money fight with Wlad. He's not willing to risk any other fight. And why anyone would think he'd have a shot against Vitali is beyond me.

I am a haye fan yes because he is british and i am british and like to get behind the brits, also i have enjoyed the HW division for once in a long time and its down to haye, a brit
reread your last paragraph, he just wants a money fight with wlad so he hasnt got the bottle to fight the others? cummon dude, i dunno whether to call it a contradiction or just stupidness

Haye was in it to SURVIVE vs Wlad he wasn't in it to win, he didn't do a damn thing but get on his bike and then try to steal points by falling down all the time feigning like Wlad pushed him. I guess that was "Master Genius" Trainer Adam Booth's secret weapon :vd:
In the end the guy tried to unify the belts by trying to draw a DQ out of the ref...its gutless and disrespectful and the whole of England should be ashamed of him.

you are wrong completely, in fact ive never read a post from you when you have been more wrong
and you say all this about haye, but wlads performance wasnt exactly macho, he took no chances either (a lot more than usual but still very little)
if haye had won i wouldnt be telling you how crap wlad is/was whatever, be as honourable in defeat as in victory
you should accept the situation that whilst wlad and vitali are champs unless one of them fight haye again then we wont have any excitement like we had for the last month or two until they retire and we get a new champ

There won't be any excitement surrounding a Haye vs Klit fight any more as everyone knows he was just all hype. The ambulances, the hospital visits, the vicious knockouts, this "plan that no one has ever seen before" - it was a fucking joke and Haye looks an even bigger cunt than he already was because of it. I certainly wouldn't pay £15 to watch him fight Wlad again. I'm not sure many other boxing 'fans' would either.

Wladimir came to fight which is why he spent his time stalking Haye down. Did Wlad stand toe to toe with David? No...#1 that's not Wlad's style but #2 Haye wouldn't have returned the favor. The issue people have with Wlad's defense is simply this he's a big guy and usually instead of just blocking a punch he'll block and move sometimes to try and set up a counter punch and its odd seeing a guy who is 6'7 jump back or tie up when a fighter gets inside (although Lewis and Ali did the same fucking thing, but I digress). Did Wlad let his hands go enough? No, I don't think he did, but part of that comes from Wlad being around so long (56 wins now) that he knows what he has to do to win rounds, certainly he would have liked the KO, but he couldn't make Haye stand still to get it.
At the end of the day Wlad is THE Champion and it was Haye's job to take the belts off of him...and all I can say for Haye's effort is: for a guy with a broken toe he certainly ran well enough.
Who says we won't have excitement? I'm happy every time the Klitschko's fight, they are great champions. As for the division as a whole, it'll always be interesting and there will always be good fights out there to be made. Right now if Arreola doesn't fight Wlad then an Arreola-Stiverne fight would be a hell of a brawl! Boytsov is a good action fighter, a little small for heavyweight but a good fighter. Povetkin needs to step up, I think a match vs Dimitrenko would be ok. The division has never been only about 1 or 2 guys...though Wlad and Vitali are head and shoulders above their competition.

you are happy when they fight but the majorty of the boxing world arent and thats a fact
as stubborn as you are you cant tell me that this fight with haye hasnt generated more interest around the world than any other wlads other fights by some distance
I would go as far as to say more than all of his fights in his recent reign put together
for once in a long time there was interest in the HW division and until they retire we wont get that again
unless maybe haye fights one of them again

and you would pay the £15

Depends on who you ask really...just remind yourself that over 50,000 people came to watch Wladimir Klitschko vs Eddie Chambers. Has David Haye ever drawn a crowd close to that size? ;D

and you say all this about haye, but wlads performance wasnt exactly macho, he took no chances either (a lot more than usual but still very little)
if haye had won i wouldnt be telling you how crap wlad is/was whatever, be as honourable in defeat as in victory
you should accept the situation that whilst wlad and vitali are champs unless one of them fight haye again then we wont have any excitement like we had for the last month or two until they retire and we get a new champ
Depends on who you ask really...just remind yourself that over 50,000 people came to watch Wladimir Klitschko vs Eddie Chambers. Has David Haye ever drawn a crowd close to that size? ;D
yep hes pretty popular in germany
so was sven ottke

And the point you miss with that comparison is that Wlad is more than willing to take on anyone and everyone in the division and the refs used in Wlad's fights do a very respectable fair and balanced job.

This is definitely not true. Even 6 year old kids know the Klitschko name in ALL Europe. And nobody knows the name of Haye outside UK. Although i dislike them, they are overwhelmingly popular over here.

Oh you mean shown outside of Germany and Eastern Europe.....LIKE ALWAYS. Even when Wlad wasn't on HBO he was still on tv in the US. Like I said before the only reason HBO has an issue with the Klitschko's is due to the times of their events take away the prime time slot for movies....HBO says otherwise, but I know what I'm talking about.

alright man you win i lose
klit is top and the HW division is buzzing, all his fights are ace and he's more exciting than tyson
the haye fight was no different than any other of his fights the same amount of people watched and it generated the same amount of money
his next 10 fights will be the same doesnt matter who he fights
this era of HW boxing has had the most exciting champion in boxing history bar none
I for one cant wait to tune in to his next fight, it will be a blow for blow war
CUMMMON KLIT

Well I never said any of those things, but I do agree his next 10 fights will be just like the last few, Wlad wins and wins easy no matter who the opponent.

Re: If Vitali beats Adameck...
I think this will turn out to be a pretty good scrap before its all said and done. Adameck has the boxing mobility (of the two) and solid punch selection to keep Vitali respectful for many rounds. I give him a shot here as long as he keeps his head and keeps Vitali over active early. He is no spring chicken and has maintained serious activity level on his terms. Call me crazy....I think Adamek is very live. This will be far from one way traffic.
