Whoa. He landed a bomb on Austin? Well now. That just changes everything.

    to see klitschko fight valuev?

if thats the case i dont think theres any chance of klitschko valuev IF valuev has a belt, but i think we may see it if he doesnt

...did anyone expect Sultan to fight that way

Sultan was giving awkward angles and he wasn't successful on offense
but he didn't let Wlad KO him.

In the end 2 fighters are in the ring some styles don't match up and these didn't do it for the fans, I am not trying to dismiss that but are you fucking serious when you say it's the "most boring fight ever".....I think there are a ton more fights that beat this one out for being boring.

It wasn't the most boring fight ever. Byrd-Willamson deserves that honor. But it was a garbage fight. And Wlad walking around with his right hand cocked for most of the fight deserves some of the blame for that

Im sorry but it was not even a technical fight....It was I'll respond when I must (Wlad) and I'll (sultan) look to play pot shot artist

Honestly Sultan can market and push this into another top show....Very deceptive for appearance as a capable boxer and Wlad has to find the bigger picture

...yes I understand many people's dislike of the fight....I told everyone I was worried about it well Sultan showed everyone why....he's a crafty sum bitch.

Wlad should have KO'd him and I am disappointed by that, I really am but he came out with the win and I don't care how it happened.

OK, here's my damn problem with this fight. Over the last year the lower weights have really been pulling their weight around to get people interested in boxing. We had Oscar and Floyd, Floyd and Hatton, Taylor and Pavlik, so on and so forth and I really think there was a huge buzz going about boxing, but this was pretty much the climax to it. Your every day average Joe wants to see the heavyweights and we've been building up to this for over a year. We get our HW unification and it turns into a boring shit fest... now all the work that's been done the past year has taken a serious hit and all the people that were brought in probably just went, "what the fuck is this shit?" and went back to UFC. Vlad is a fucking asshole pussy for that performance. He obviously knew the ramifications of this bout and didn't give a shit. So I say fuck him and pray that someone with some balls can come around that weighs over 200 lbs.

it wasnt that klitschko didnt want to thorw, it was that he didnt want to miss a hard right and sultan moved his head after the jabs, so klitschko didnt want to risk it, its not like he had to risk it, i didnt think the fight was brong at all but i love both klitschko and ibragimov

Wladimir, given his history fought a smart fight and Sultan was crafty and was really trying to land hard punches.

It was a bad match up of styles is all....it's not that either fighter didn't try. Wlad usually doesn't need too many right crosses to KO someone and Sultan couldn't be more active due to that big ass jab.

ODH-PBF and Taylor-Pavlik are all right handed fighters and their styles mesh

I'm aware of that Lyle, but even you have to admit that what we're talking about right now is a man who had at least a 4" height advantage over his opponent take no risk whatsoever in a fight that had gained fairly decent media attention. Vladimir chose an entertainment profession. As hard as it is to deviate the risk from the entertainment it was his choice and he decided not to entertain. There is no excuse you can throw up to excuse him from that. He had the fight well in hand and he decided to not make a statement. He got paid the money to walk out there and entertain and he decided not to, so screw him.

Understandable but Wladimir's MAIN goal is not to entertain it's to win....entertainment is icing on the cake.

Height means very little, look at Paul Williams, Nikolay Valuev, Primo Carnera, Buddy Baer and then look at Mike Tyson, Jack Dempsey, Shane Mosley, Marvin Hagler, Rocky Marciano, Joe Frazier....for every good short fighter there is a shitty tall fighter. Fighting isn't about height, weight, or arm length it's about fighting better than your opponent

You know mate i don't totally blame Wlad.... lewis could be a bore safty first fighter on alot of occasions... so for me Many Steward ((spelling as im pissed)) has apart to play... he fucked up Naz's style bigtime turning him into a boxer.... so dont feel the Wlad is totally to blame
