So you're more than suspicious now againts Pacquiao?

Do you also hate Roy because he roided during his prime? or you only hate pacquiao because Floyd is your 'Favorite' fighter?

Given that your suspicion is more than suspicion its logical to assume that you think Pacquiao is a cheater. And since Roy is a proven cheater not just by suspicion is it safe to assume that you also hate Roy Jones?

Did you already hate Roy Jones before Sr did quack about roids?
Again, trying to draw parallels where there are none. Roy Jones Jr is not Manny Pacquiao. Different age in boxing, different circumstances. "HYPOCRISY!" Also, while I don't think Roy's crime was as in-your-face and detrimental to the sport, I do hold his illegal substance history against him.

Just a note, Floyd isn't my 'Favorite' fighter but on this issue I support him 100%.

I think the RJJ-steroids situation only bolster's PBFs argument. Roids are rather ubiquitous in sports and many athtles, not only Pac-Man, suffer from the natural guilt by association argument. Indeed its their fault if they suffer, because they are often the ones standing between suspicion and olympic style testing, especially the MLB players union.

In this context, Pac-Man's theatrics (paraphrased as "how dare anyone accuse me!!??") seems clueless at best, fake at worst. He should take the test.

Jeez man, let it die. For a second I thought this was a thread about Roy Jones and him having amazing reflexes, power etc in his prime how Manny makes his way into it from there is anybodys guess
This is not about the failed negotiation. ITs about your reaction and everybody else's regarding this new noble crusade againts PED's.

Pls. read what i wrote about Roy's scenario. How did you react?

Now compare that to your reaction when Pac 'refused' the additional tests.

Its not about the failed pac-floyd negotiation mod.

Its a comparison between Roy a superhuman fighter that tested positive for illegal substance during his peak. and Manny Pacquiao who has passed every test given to him. same tests given to the enire professional boxing population.

    both p4p #1
both displayed great accomplishment in the ring

    but while
Roy tested positive he didnt and still doesnt get the flak what manny is getting right now despite the fuc_king FACT that he never tested positive................yeah i hear it He refused addtional tests demanded by his supposed opponent

Yeah i agree its irritating but this is another angle.

    The thread topic is misleading..

I get the impression it is an "About Manny Pacqiuao" thread in disguise...

    Am I right?

Well in a way the Flip has a point.

Roy Jones gets a pass for a dirty drug test.
Shane Mosley gets a pass for Balco.
Evander Holyfield gets a pass for HGH and steroids under his pseudonym Evans Fields.

All those 4 guys are praised to death in this forum and other boxing forums. No questioning their accomplishments.

I think they all got ripped at the time. It's just because the Pacquiao allegations are so recent and because they played a part in the scrapping of the biggest fight in 10 years that people are so critical at the moment. 5 - 10 years from now, when all this is in the rear view mirror like the Holyfield, Jones, and Mosley scandals I imagine it will be looked at the same way. I actually wouldn't be surprised if it had less of a long-term impact because Pacquaio has never been proven to have done anything wrong. It's just a flavour of the month topic because people are angry about Pacquiao-Mayweather falling through.

That's the main thing. This is in the here and now. I am posting during this time and I see it before my eyes. How could I not comment upon it? Jones Jr. was way back and it wasn't my time nor responsibility to comment upon it. If it was to happen in Hopkins/Jones 2 then you can guarantee that I will be saying my thing, but I don't think it will happen.

There are a few things that contribute to the backlash Pac is receiving. Forget the fact that Pac and his team had many contradicting excuses for not taking the tests even contradicting each other, forget the fact that Pac had Trevor Graham, a known and proven PED cheating trainer, as his trainer, and forget the fact that Pac's current nutritionist, Ariza, said he is getting faster as he is getting bigger and that he is in control and that Pac doesn't know what he gives him. Its the whole arrogant attitude that Pac's team has taken. They expect to call all the shots in negotiations even the weight and weight penalty and the one request Mayweather had they respond like Mayweather is the one wrong for asking. "How dare he want a proven even playing field?" They then go on to say stupid lies like "Mayweather is scared to fight Pac", "Mayweather ended the possible fight" even though they signed Clottey first. They say Mayweather should only request whats in the rules even though they've requested and gotten many rule bending and outside of the rules requests. Yes, you will have your "any fighter" haters but outside of the ring the Pac team is doing a terrible job staying liked by anyone not a nuthugger. Roy Jones Jr's situation was merely swept under the rug so there was little dwelling time and RJJ did not try to excuse himself. Fair or not, RJJ let the situation die and it did.
