I believe the first negotiation years ago was going for 50/50 split. And of course we expect Floyd to have the higher PPV numbers, he has been fighting on American soil.
I see what you did there. You must think you're very clever...but you missed the point.

Floyd doesn't need Manny to have made over $400 million in his career. Who said he does?
Floyd didn't need Manny to be the highest paid athlete in the world. Who said he did?
Floyd doesn't seem to care what people think about why he does or doesn't want to fight Manny. All Floyd cares about is the money and where do you think the biggest money is?

Bob Arum is the reason this fight isn't happening. Mayweather and Pacquiao has a part in it.
Bob won't open his books for another promoter and the rest of the world to see.
Bob has been ripping Manny (and all his other fighters) off for decades.
We have already agreed that Bob is a scumbag, so move on.
Bob wants Manny to keep fighting other Top Rank fighters in China for the rest of his career. This way the money stays in his hands entirely. And the fighters remain in the dark as to how they're being ripped off. Yes, he did that to keep the money in the house. He's a scumbag. But now, at the last few years of Pac's and Mayweather's career, he had called out Floyd which I believe may be true. It will be up to Floyd to expose if Bob is bluffing by agreeing to the fight.

As a point of reference I'll mention the 2012 NSAC paper work that showed that Manny had never been payed more than $8 million for any of his fights. What does this have to do with whether Floyd accepts to fight?

Floyd fought Hatton and made $11 million
Manny fought Hatton and made $7.4 million And that's impressive, don't you think? Maybe, you can name another bout where two non-Americans fought on American soil and came close.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. would fight Shane Mosley on May 1, 2010 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas Nevada. Floyd would be guaranteed a tad over $22 million for his bout. Manny Pacquiao would fight Shane Mosley on May 7, 2011 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas Nevada. Manny would be guaranteed $6 million for his bout. Nobody had said that Manny had ever been paid more than Floyd.

Floyd is clearly the money factor and draw for this event. Why would it ever have been a 50/50 split? There was a time that the two had agreed to a 50/50 split, and here is one of those articles: Smith: Mayweather-Pacquiao talk of boxing world - NY Daily News Floyd is now set to get the lion's share which is rightly so, if he agrees to the fight.

Also, your assessment of my blood pressure based on my posts is idiotic. Have it checked when you're angry, you may thank me later on.
If they fight .... good. If not, it's not the end of the world.
