I honestly might do my best to ignore this entire lead up and "event" as just not much positive to say. After Canelos last abysmal outing it's abundantly clear he's fighting with one foot out of the door and this Turki deal may very well will be his career grand finale come May/Sept of 2026, if not sooner. And Crawford coming off yet another year of inactivity two divisions removed unlikely to go back down going on 38 years old may be eyeing the same sort of finale. It's just disappointing on both fronts and trust me when I say...the massive hype and promotion leading up will be like nothing we've ever seen. Can easily see the fight being billed a "let down" simply because it will almost be over shadowed in some ways. I'm talking literally comic book shit on a bad acid trip goes to the astral circus type nauseating hype train. This is the inaugural intro of Dana White promoting and fluffing Turki both backed fully by the TKO group, and if you think the "historical" Times Square complete bust, um card, was too much and completely over the top of reality...well buckle up.
